The Cascade Highway even has Street View, a sure sign of its significance! It's a down to earth convenience store, cold beer and soda, plus some odd home table decorations and sundries. Portapotty. It's in an historical building, originally the country store for Liberal, Oregon, selling "Hardware, Dry Goods, Groceries, Boots and Shoes". It's over 100 years old! Instead of trying to get trays, last minute, from a restaurant I ran into Fred Meyer to see what they had to offer. They had some great options ready made!! I chose a bunch of different trays and headed home to make a dinner spread. We added rice and pan fried noodles made at home and it was a great birthday dinner. Everyone was happy and a big bonus, that I ALWAYS worry about with raw fish items, no one had any upset stomachs.
