But wait, this is a gas station review! Read on. Walmart is in bed with Murphy's. You can see them in front of hundreds of Walmart's. How do you take advantage of this? Double-Dip #1- Assuming you patronize Walmart, buy yourself a membership. It will cost you less than $100 and comes with tons of perks including gas discounts at Murphy's. How do you get the $? You tell the gas pump you are Walmart member by scanning a QRC code or punching in a code available on the Walmart app. See my picture. Double-Dip 2- Walmart is also in bed with Capital One. Get yourself a Walmart credit card. It has no fee. Pay for your gas with this card. So how much can you get Steven B? Depending on the deals going on I get at least 10 cents a gallon and sometimes up to 15! This can really add up over a year to some serous $$! Note, I believe the amounts might vary by state. The gas station itself is top notch. Up-to-date pumps and often the best price intown. The convenience store is spotless. I'm changing my rating from 4 to 5 stars!

They also almost always have a convenience type store. This one anchors the South side of town On Route 27 North. There is another mega-station on the North side of town and on the other side of Route 27. Competition is a wonderful thing. They match each other's prices and are almost always the lowest in town. This station has incredibly easy access. It's a breeze to slip in and out and I love that! The pump area is very clean and everything always seems to be in working order. So a low price, ease of access, and clean environment is a triple winner for me. The only thing I could ask for is Victoria's Secret models pumping my gas but I'll save that for my dreams!

Pumps- They are OK but behind the times and don't have all the bells and whistles like much of the competition. The Store- It's the Stop-N-Shop brand. Just like the pumps, out of date and a bit neglected. There are several places with equally easy access within tenths of a mile that are worlds better! They have the corner of the busiest intersection within quite a few miles. On the surface they seem to check all the boxes. They have gas, the store, propane, U-Haul rentals and lottery. Unfortunately, they seem to have let their prime location go to their head a little bit. The gas prices are OK, but you can usually do better a minute or two down the road. The pumps are also OK but a little dated. The store is definitely dated and a little dim but decently stocked. Those hot dogs on rollers scare me because I don't know how many miles they've rolled! Once you leave the pumps, parking is tough if you want to patronize the store. The parking lot in general looks beat up. If you're from out-of-town you stop in because you really don't know that better locations a minute or two away. If you are a local, like me, you go to much nicer competitors!

I visit here and the first word that come to mind is "sketchy!" The parking lot is a little beat up and not welcoming. The other businesses in the teeny tiny plaza are vacant. The signage is makeshift. The pumps are also sketchy, and everything may not work. Gas prices are about $.15 gallon higher that the big guys as they are off the major roads. To be fair, the inside has most of the stuff you would want but the big guys have a much better selection and cleanliness. The lady that waited on me reeked of boredom. Of course, I never got a "Thank you!' As it's the holidays, I'm going to be charitable and go with two stars!

Location- On Route 27 North but not at an intersection. Pain in the ass if you are going the other way! Facility- Not the cleanest. A small, crowded store. Also crowded pumps. A little old style, one-bay car wash. Overall, underwhelming! Service- Very pleasant people. A bright spot here. Funny how you trace back all the people who have gotten their card info stolen all have this place in common. Typically one of the dirtiest stations around. Just one of those you find in the shadower sides of town that isn't on a shadow side. Beware of the carwash. Majority of the time doesn't work. The times it does you be lucky to have your car come out cleaner let alone with out a new scratch.

They have figured out how to deal with the frustrating Florida sun glare issues. * The attached store is spotless, beautifully maintained, and has a very good variety. * If you are paying cash this is a great place to stop. The bad- * I was charged $.10 / Gallon extra for using my credit card! My 17 gallon fill-up cost me an extra $1.70 and that is outrageous! Even though the employee that answered the phone sounded extremely overwhelmed with many phone calls, I felt like I was the only customer she had all day. She was sweet as pie and very reassuring. She told me that due to approaching storm that numerous other clients had ordered propane replenishment before me but that they would deliver after the hurricane passed. I said ok and booked my refueling. I should not have let my tank run to 30%. Lesson learned. My new goal is to keep it always at 80%. Yesterday morning, on Saturday, my dogs' incessant barking woke me up early. It was a Ridge Propane delivery driver to refill my underground propane tank. I was surprised since I was informed about my delivery after the hurricane passed & when things got back to normal. I greeted the gentleman with a wide smile & some bewilderment. He was super friendly. He mentioned that the company brought in out of state personnel, like him, to help aide in fulfilling all their fuel deliveries. Now that is customer service. Other propane outfits I had reached out to also promised delivery after the storm some 7 days out from my initial call. Ridge Propane really cares about the community they serve. They will always be my propane provider. Keep up the GREAT WORK!!!

Soooooo a gas station goes defunct as they do once and a while and nobody seems to want to pick it…read moreup as another gas station. It just sits there looking like s**t! Along comes an entrepreneur who wants to grab the building at an insanely cheap rent and try to make a go of it. Welcome to America! So, this guy gives it a shot about five months ago. The outside still looks like s**t of course. However, he gets himself lottery and tobacco licenses and most importantly a beer license. Throw in bagged ice, lots and lots of snacks and a few sundries and off we go! If you live within a mile or so and they have what you need, it gets the job done. It's not particularly clean and not particularly organized but if you want to pick up a six pack and a couple of scratch offs and be back home in ten minutes it's ideal. The guy I met, who I'm betting was the owner or family member was very nice and I wish them luck!
