My spouse is HIGH ANXIETY and had a broken tooth that needed a root canal and crown - we were in the process of relocating from CA and had to make a last-minute appointment before leaving town and drove all the way from San Diego based on Dr. Desai's stellar recordkind, . The entire staff is warm, welcoming, and empathetic, and Dr, Desai is a very kind and highly skilled dentist who uses new technology delivering excellent results. The team took many breaks, continued to ask if my spouse was OK, and remained empathetic through the entire process - my spouse has a severe clinical anxiety issue, and Dr. Desai took great consideration, empathy and patience in his care. I'm not the biggest fan of going to the dentist but they make for a very welcoming atmosphere & really take care of you while in treatment. A really great option for dentistry if you are in the Orange County area. Although I live close by, I would drive out of my way if I moved just to continue being a patient of theirs. Absolutely horrible customer service. They do not care about you at all. They just want to make sure their days are booked back to back. They cancelled my appointment because I asked for someone to call me for an earlier appointment. NEVER DID I SAY cancel my appointment. I responded to their text messages, I called but they were closed. I took the day off from work to come here. I had made this appointment A MONTH IN ADVANCE. I am so disappointed!! I was looking forward to this, it was going to be my first time. How can you cancel someone's appointment without their say? Horrible and mean people. Do not come here. read more

I get billed every time I want a teeth cleaning. It doesn't make sense. I have insurance and they always find a way to squeeze a dime out of you. I'm going back to my old dentist in Irvine. I've never been billed for a teeth cleaning before. The Dentist suggests getting all of my tiny chips filled. Why drill holes in teeth unless it's completely necessary? This place only wants as much money out of you as possible. I would appreciate communication if their legal obligation of "having to x-ray" or whatever, would cost me. I pay for dental insurance to get my teethe buffed up when I go. And I have decent teeth, just saying. Karin gave me attitude, she wasn't that helpful and her explanation was vague. I know what I signed up for this year for insurance, but they did extra stuff, without telling me, and found a way to make me pay. There was no communication, they just did it. read more

I have never walked into a dental office and felt comfortable or at ease, until I walked into this office. We were referred to this dentist, let me tell you they weren't lying. My mom needed some major dental work and has been worried and stressing. The office staff is beyond patient, friendly and professional. Karen, the main person in front is AWESOME to say the least. Her knowledge, kindness and patience is super appreciated. She is genuinely sweet. The Dr. is great. He isn't pushy don't rush and seems happy to answer any question, my mom had quite a few and he answered them all. You can tell everyone from the staff to the doctor genuinely get along and work together. I plan to change my families dentist over to Dr Chet Desai. I would highly recommend. I after years of not going to the dentist, I figured it was time. Dr. Desai was a recommendation from my job. I love that it's so close to me, but most of all, I love the service I receive. Beginning with his front of house staff, they are always so pleasant and they know you as soon as you walk in. Prior to your appointment, you will receive multiple notifications and even a phone call from them reminding you of your appointment. His dental hygienist, Dana, is such an amazing person. Additionally, she truly loves what she does. She make sure that you are comfortable the whole time while she's cleaning your teeth. After decades of avoiding the dentist, I really feel comfortable in this office. Dr. Desai is also a wonderful person. I never feel like he's trying to upsell me or push anything on me when I'm there. He's very professional and a true credit to dentistry.
