Hector was the gentleman that gave me the quote and did the work. He was super nice, they did a full sprinkler system install in 1 day. He showed me how to use the app, adjust the heads, and they put down grass seed when done. Also they accidentally cracked one of my blue stones but they replaced it within a few days of the job. When they activated the my sprinklers earlier this season, they told me that I needed a new filter--when the service person realized he didn't have the part in the truck, he told me that I actually don't need the filter replaced. Since I have them, they only show up to turn the sprinklers on and off. I've had "only" them and my lawn has constantly died due to poor sprinkler types and lack of water getting to certain areas. Sprinkler care and lawn treatment seem to be horrible in Bergen County. You have to receiving a communication from this company is nice to know that they monitor these posts however when you turn a sprinkler system on it is customary to check the sprinklers for proper condition and if if they are doing the proper job not just turn it on and walk away from it. I would not have lost my lawn this year if my sprinkler company had my best interest at heart and checked each sprinkler head and the placement and the coverage they were supplying not just turn the sprinkler on. This past time when I requested that they come out they had to replace several heads and adjust locations that the sprinklers were supplying water to. That tells me that when they came out a few months ago they did just what the woman said was turn the system on and walk away and didn't check anything and for over $100 that's not good service I would hope that they change the way they service my property. It seems that they are very comfortable with a DISGRACEFUL three star rating rather than trying to earn more stars and be more considerate of the customer. Now I look and the three replaced heads are refurbished and not new new heads that I paid over three hundred dollars for. These pictures represent the failure of what I paid for and did not get. My neighbor has "no" sprinklers and his lawn is near perfect. Unfortunately the company is run from the office and no one monitors the worker's performance. The Proof Is in the finished product!

Positives: Tom was very responsive via text and email - he was one of the first electricians to respond and had one of the most competitive offers. He gave me specific Amazon links and directions about purchasing a switch which helped me feel confident in his skillset and also in the products I was purchasing. In addition, he helped me solve a mystery about some other lights in my house (turns out I just couldn't find the switch). Room for improvement: On the first day we arranged for the job, Tom was late to arrive and we had to reschedule because it passed the time when I could be home. However, he worked to make it right and showed up on time at the next arranged time. He also waived the switch fee to compensate me for the inconvenience, which I appreciated. Other areas for improvement are that they could have cleaned up better after they left - there was still a lot of debris on the ground and I had to mop twice. And the switch was not completely flush with the wall (they did try to make it right and get it flush with the wall after I pointed it out but it's not perfect, I will have to have someone adjust it). Would I recommend? Yes, I would recommend Fortech. I was happy with their service and would hire them again for an electrical job at my primary home or rental properties.

The quote didn't mention patching but patching was included during the installation which most of the other electricians did not include.
