My wife and I come here every year on vacation and one of the big highlights is going to Cheshire antiques. Unlike other antique malls, they don't have any junk in this place. Nothing made in China. They have an amazing selection of art and antique furniture and clothing and jewelry and whatever else you're looking for. My wife and I have visited maybe 40 antique stores and this is by far our favorite one. The people here are always amazingly friendly and helpful. And anything that's over $50 they'll give you 10% off.

Absolutely love this treasure trove of antiques. They have limited furniture pieces but an absolutely wonderful array of knick knacks from all over the world and for any interest. At Christmas they provide treats during an open house and usually offer a store wide sale. Well worth browse for the one of a kind gift.

What a great time! We came in from out of town and I found their post on Facebook. We decided to come in for their Black Friday deals. First time here and omg, what a big selection. You can spend hours walking around here! The service was really great.

I really wonder what this building was before... There's whole another wing to it. Huge.

Huge. Beautiful. This place is super organized, but still have that incredible nostalgic feel. My girlfriends and I were antiquing in Carson City, and the owner of a large shop told us to try Cheshire Antiques in Gardnerville. So we made another 20 minutes drive, and we were definitely glad we did. Great selection, clean items, very nice staff (except for one guy, who was very grumpy). We walked around all areas (I mean it's huuuuge) and really enjoyed the experience. We all bought several good finds, and they were all very reasonably priced. One of the best antique shops I've ever been to. I'm going to go visit again soon.

A whole lotta stuff

This is a lot of fun with a walk down memory lane no matter your age. I found post cards unused, from the state that I grew up in and found some wonderful cards. Filled with little shops that had interesting items from days gone by. Collectibles, clothing, jewelry. Knives, hear, games, just about anything that you have an interest in. This location had an enormous amount of items as well as LP vinyl albums. Worth visiting in Minden.

I've been into Cheshire Antiques several times now. Such a cool place to spend a few hours. Some items are very over-priced and some things are reasonable. Each vendor sets their own prices. A great place to shop! Purchased a book and some marbles for an old jar I have. Nice staff. Clean.

Antiquing is fun.

Everyone has such positive things to say about Cheshire Antiques and I can see why. The staff is very friendly and helpful while allowing you all the poke around and look time you need. It is a very large space with all sorts of items. I did need assistance in getting cases unlocked and navigating around. There are bathrooms in the back right section of the store. I found a cool gothic brooch, some buttons and some gambling chips. They were all items on my list so imagine that. Definitely worth a stop or a day trip .

I stopped in here to hunt for vinyl records. Not only was this a nice place to browse for antiques, the building itself is historical for the area. They have two large rooms and a second floor of all kinds of items. The folks working there were so nice and helpful, I wish I lived closer to frequent the store more often. If you happen to be in the Gardnerville, NV area and want to see some history, stop in and check them out.

Best antique store in Nevada! 12,000 sq feet and wonderful people who work there! You have to see this place to believe it!

Terrible customer service. They seem more interested in making money than helping people. And unfortunately I can't support them.

One of my most favorite antique stores, I never leave empty handed! In a really cool old building, complete with a "bee room" (my favorite).

Prices were higher than average in my opinion, I do go to many antique stores.

Antiques Plus rests right near the Genoa Town limits and just beyond the post office on the way to…read morethe Kingsbury grade a few miles down the road. I've been here a few times while I was in the neighborhood. 3 factors make me hesitant to come back. 1. The political flags. Folks have the right to state or display their opinion, but I'm not big on people shoving it in your face, regardless of viewpoint. It's certainly an interesting business model to drive some folks that maybe they didn't want around anyway. 2. A reputation of existing outside the Genoa both geographically and in terms of community support and involvement. 3. I love going into antique places and its an individual thing when you're trying to decide "trash or treasure?". I've found neither category here, but rather a mushy middle that's easy to move on to something else. These are my own biased opinions, and folks are more than welcome to see and experience things for themselves.

She explained some of the damage done to her shop and her family by so called "service" dogs. I felt terrible for her... please people, stop faking the service dogs! Anyway, she and I had the most delightful time looking at brooches, and she made me a deal on 4 really nice vintage pins. I enjoyed my time there. For a small store she has lots of variety and personality. I will definitely be back again and recommend others to her store.
