When I tried to schedule another apt with Dr Simons sometime in the future, they told us that it was company policy that we couldn't switched drs. Picking your dr is a patient right. The exam was completed and every question I had was answered with patience and understanding. I had my eyes dilated and so picking frames was a bit of a challenge, but thankfully I was given good advice on what looked good or fit me well. When I returned to pick up my glasses, which were done super fast, Abi helped me out and made sure everything was just as I expected. Unfortunately I had to miss that appointment because I was unexpectedly called into work. When I called to make another appointment I was told someone would have to call me back. Eventually I got a call from someone in Dr McDonalds office saying "the doctor will only agree to see you again if you're serious about treating your condition" and then mentioned my recently missed appointment along with a few missed appointments in the last 2 years. I'm not too sure how many appointments I could have missed when Dr McDonald wasn't even my doctor but what i learned from this experience is Dr McDonald must think she is the only doctor around. I've gotta say he beats the Dr. I had back in Dallas by a long shot. I come to him both for care and prescription and contact lenses. His clinic is clean and the wait times are always short, and he has an in-house shop that has excellent and affordable selections. Gabby, the girl who runs it, is very polite and knowledgeable. He's not the biggest clinic in town, but I think that quality of service and friendly home-town care go a lot further here in Brenham. Dr. Beim's definitely got the best service. I would definitely trust my children to his care, and will probably turn to him for vision surgery in the future. If I ever step on my glasses again, I will be back!
