I'm a do it yourself kind of a person but our basset hound is a pain to trim his nails but that is included with baths so that is what sold me on trying a mobile groomer. It makes it worth it to me to get nails trimmed and I hate brushing the dogs also. With that said I will use Baxter again. Only constructive criticism I would say is I'm disappointed I can't find Baxters website? I've found other groomers that you can book appointments online I like that hope Baxter would consider that. I know you can Book appointments on Facebook but not everyone uses Facebook. The thing I like about having a website you can see details of service and prices. The receptionist was unpleasant to start with. Then, she said 2-2.5 hours for grooming, but took…read morealmost 5 hours. Also, she said she called and texted, but I had my phone on me because I was waiting for my dog and this was a new groomer to us, so I was ready. I called at about 3 hrs & very politely began to ask if she was ready, when she snapped at me saying that the groomer needs a 45 minute break by law. I told her no problem and asked about how much longer. After giving her more than another 45 min. that she had stated she needed, I called again. She then said she'd been calling me, but I didn't get a single call or text. She then raised the original price from $70 to $75. At this point I didn't care. I just wanted my dog. My dog had NEVER come out looking like this. I couldn't believe how poor the grooming was. That night I found a cut on her paw. I wanted to support small local business, but I won't be back.
