I have to tell you - this is the BEST place to have a birthday party! We brought our 12yo twins there yesterday and purchased their largest package which includes 2 lanes of bowling, 1 round of laser tag or mini golf, $5 game cards for the arcade for every child in your party (with a little extra for the birthday kid(s)), 2 pizzas (which were the CHEESIEST pizzas I've ever had! ) and drinks. Every person in attendance had so much fun, including the parents! VINNY IS THE MAN WITH THE PLAN!!! Make your reservation and when you get there, ask for Vinny and he will take care of you. His level of customer service is comparable to 5 star. He made all of us, especially the birthday kids, feel so special. He was constantly keeping an eye on us to see if we needed anything, which was a HUGE help for me (especially considering our entire party was full of autistic and special needs children and adults). Vinny and the gang were on top of things before I even noticed and had a chance to ask for assistance, so I felt more at ease to relax and enjoy the party with everyone else. It's clear they have a high standard of excellence and they absolutely achieved it during our visit. They even gave our kids a special spray painted bowling pin with a Sharpie for all their friends to sign to keep as a memento! They said it was the best birthday they've ever had! This place USED to be a dive where I wouldn't DREAM of even dropping *late teens* off to hang out without parental supervision. It just didn't feel safe. But NOW?? It has been *completely* transformed into a place where the whole family can go and have a great time without breaking the bank! This is the best place in Canton to spend an evening as it's safe, clean, affordable, and has great bowling, mini golf, arcade, food, and a friendly bar. We've never had to wait for a lane and the shoe rentals and bowling balls are plentiful. The music is great and we love the night lighting. The staff is absolutely amazing and we are always greeted like family by the manager and bartender. It's truly nice to walk into an establishment and be presented with smiles and courtesy. I bring my family here, as well as my 76 year old mom, as it's wonderful for all ages. We've spent the last decade here and we've watched our kids grow in your alley. I enjoyed my out out at Cherokee Lanes. From me calling them over the phone to see if they were open; Mitchell answered the phone on the first ring with excellent customer service. Arriving at the establishment and there was no trash landing around, parking lot and golf course was covered with light. The bowling alley has a MyJam juice box where you can pick songs from your phone to play. Their bartender was very respectable and knowledgeable of cocktails. Great place for the family. Would give five stars if "they replaced some of the bowling balls with some man sizes, my fingers couldn't find a better fit after checking three racks. Warning, if you have children: First thing we notice when walking inside is that the bar left unattended with beer pitchers sitting out in open. We waited at the bar for almost 10 minutes before having to go find someone. We watched people come in and fill their cups up with the beer on counter. I assumed it was theirs but what's really stopping me from grabbing a cup to go? With all the children running around, it really surprised me alchohol was left unattended and in the open for enough time I coulda made several drinks, guzzled, and left before anyone noticed. Particularly since the employees do not wear any distinguishable clothing. I'm not even sure the "bartender", when he finally arrived, was old enough to even serve as he looked a whole 19 years old. Tried to go to Stars and Strike in Woodstock that place had an hour and a half wait, so we called up Cherokee Lanes and had no waiting, this place was easy to find across the street from the high school in canton. As we walked in I could see they had added a new putt putt golf area which is really nice to see I was with my family that came in for the holidays we were able to get our pricing cheaper than first told due to asking for a discount, just a FYI. Music and atmosphere was great and I love that they have Velcro shoes no, so easy on and off. Overall we rented two lanes for 2hours got three games in between 8 people. Will go back again place was a nice break from the big bowling lanes read more

So fun. This was our first time here. We had adults and teens. All had a great time. We went on a Saturday and didn't have to wait long for a lane. Drinks are cheap. Being a bowler since I've reached puberty, I've realized that a bowling alley without the epic TV Screens and the upscale bar service like Lucky Lanes is something that I can really appreciate. Easier to focus when you're trying to max out your score and easy enough to enjoy with a group of friends. Friendly and family oriented place. Everything seems to be in very good condition. More sanitary than other bowling alleys I've seen for the pricing it offers (99 CENT WEDNESDAYS) - bowling shoes, balls, and lanes are kept rather clean. restrooms too. :] Plan on going there again and again! I'm glad the bowling alley has added arcade games and a laser tag area. It provides families with many more options than just bowling. For instance, my 4 year old got bored with bowling, so we were able to let her play some of the arcade games to keep her entertained and happy. Some places we take her I hope and pray will keep her occupied so she doesn't start getting ill. But this was not the case for this place! We were able to keep her entertained and happy. For those of you with kids...you know that a happy child equals happy parents, especially out in public. My only complaint is that I wish the food counter operated better. We ordered a meal and waited and waited. They kept calling names for other families to pick up their meal. Thirty minutes later, I finally went to the counter and asked where our food was. (Yes, maybe I should have asked sooner, but I have worked in the food industry and know sometimes sh*t happens). I was told we already got our order......meaning a stranger walked straight up to the window and picked up our food. I wish they could incorporate numbered tickets or buzzers or something that corresponds with the order. When you pick up your food, you hand over the ticket/buzzer/thing that corresponds with your order. This will eliminate this problem entirely. This is my only complaint. read more

My significant other and I went here on a Friday night and we were promptly greeted and explained the Friday night special from 930 to closing which includes free shoes and 2 hours of bowling for $14 per person. We selected this deal and proceeded to a lane and once there we were moved to another due another individual already having the lane which wasn't too big of a deal, but the issues started when it was time to order some food. Issue 1 the kids behind the counter just do not care about the customers or food handling at all. The girl taking orders was bleeding from one of her fingers and the guy who was "cooking" (read: dropping items in a fryer then smothering them with way too many condiments - don't order the extreme tots) did not have a care the world. Issue 2 was the length of time it took for me to receive extreme tots and fried pickles. About 30-45 minutes or longer I really lost track because the customers before me were also confused and trying to figure out where the kids disappeared to after we had already paid. Issue 3 was once I finally received my order my "extreme" tots were so sloppy and drenched in sour cream, chili, and whatever else that I may have only had about 10 tots total. The fried pickles were gross and out of plate of maybe 30 I think we ate 5 because of the salt and lack of any other flavor. I want to say I spent less than $10 for both items so def will not be purchasing items if we return. Issue 4 the girl behind the bar does not know drinks and although I don't mind this because she used index cards to make the ones we ordered my issue here is the vodka they serve is horrible. So in conclusion don't order food or look for any of help service wise as it's an absolute joke and shit show currently. Hopefully someone does something here to improve because it is actually a nice alley and had I not ordered food this review would definitely had been at least 3 stars.. read more

Place was clean and staff was friendly but the place smelled like a nasty ashtray. There is an open window to the bar area and the smoke just wafts in. Not good for kids. First of all, my friends and I waited 10 minutes for the cashier. A couple of other customers were waiting as well. When the cashier arrived, I told her what I wanted. 1 pair of shoes, two people, three games each. I shouldn't have to explain but, my fiancé has a muscle disorder and cannot wear certain shoes. We have been coming here for years, it has never been a problem for him to wear his own shoes. The cashier rudely looked at me and said "What do you mean he can't wear them?" She looked at me like I was an idiot first of all. When I explained he had a muscle disorder, she continued to look at me like I was dumb. While I've never had a problem before, I doubt I will be coming back anytime soon. That was extremely rude. And also, after we started to bowl we noticed her on her phone and not attending to customers at the ticket counter. They'd been standing there since before we arrived it seemed. Spent 3 hours at Cherokee Lanes this past Saturday with my wife and two grandchildren. We were there from 2pm - 5pm. The young lady at the front counter was very helpful and not only came down to enter our names into the scorer but also brought down two 7# balls and a ramp. We had zero stops on our lane (8 total games bowled) and the scoring system worked great. The music videos were classic rock - nothing vulgar/obscene. The music volume was good - not too loud or too soft. It was "Cosmic" lighting during our bowling time. We also tried out their new 18 hole miniature golf course. It isn't elaborate but was fun and in excellent condition. We also spent some time in the game room and all the games were functioning properly, were clean and in good condition. They have a nice assortment of video and redemption style games. We did not try the Laser Tag as they have a height minimum the kids didn't meet. Compared to the other "multi-venue" bowling centers within a thirty minute drive-time, the prices at Cherokee seem to be the most affordable. As for a Saturday bowling afternoon, we will do it again! read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE! Worst bowling experience of my life. I go bowling every weekend and have never had the problems I had at this establishment. Started out with three bowlers they set us up at a lane that then stopped working they moved us to another lane. We waited 10 minutes for it to start it never did so we told them our lane wasn't on, they said oh we put you at another lane not that one so we move all of our stuff again. Bowled once and the lane broke again! I went to complain again saying what's the deal. The employees were extremely rude. Said they could move us to another lane and I said is that one going to break too because if it is id like to just leave. They offered us a free round of bowling which was technically free because we had already paid and never got a working lane. The managers didn't understand they weren't doing us a favor and giving us a free round. They would have been giving me the round I already paid for. It was a headache. Went there last night..12/30/16 for Cosmic bowling...have been before but has been a while, always enjoyed it....but last night was awful due to the music and video's that played. There were lots of children in the house plus many 50+ adults and for the hour and a half we were there mgt. played only violent..sexual rap music and video's...disgusting...I complained and was told I could get the app mygym.com and request my on tunes, but it would take some time before of\r if the tunes were played. I'm in my 40s, beginning to bowl regularly, and enjoy this place. It's a bowling alley, you go to work on your game & have fun. Stoney in the pro shop is great - actually a pro bowler - who offers tips and even gives lessons. Purchased a ball and shoes there, too. People and families around me also seems to have fun. I don't see people complaining about lanes being broken, slow or bad customer service. They play music, but I'm usually concentrating on the games we play so I don't even notice it. There is a bar within alley, so to the loser who complained about not being able to BYOB, movie theatres don't allow outside food/bevs either. read more

This place has undergone a lot of changes. The lounge is opened up,four pool tables. You can take any drink to your lanes except pitchers,city of canton ordinance. THE WHOLE BUILDING IS SMOKE FREE. Great food. Everything is made to order. It doesn't sit around waiting on you to order it. Lots of new staff and familiar faces. New night manager,very friendly and helpful. Thirty video games. Lazer tag. 99 cent bowling on Sunday nights starting at 6. Sunday night through Thursday night,starting at 6 10 dollar unlimited laser tag.
