They have a large variety of snacks, and gifts, as well as an abundance of wine. Nice open spaces to walk and enjoy the scenery as well! I highly recommend Bear Claw Winery.

After arriving in the Blue Ridge area Friday we were on the hunt for a little family fun and found…read morethis gem on Yelp! The vineyard is kid and dog friendly so we decided we'd go explore! Bear came with us and was the perfect pup just chilling and loving all of the attention! The service was great we went to the counter and ordered our drinks. My kiddo even got to have a blue raspberry slushie which made her night she ended up with blue lips and teeth too! They also have a gift shop full of adorable merchandise: cups with the bear claw logo etched on (I got a wine cup lol! ) , cork bracelets (we got two), dog clothes, goat milk soap, t shirts etc. They have lots of seating options indoor tables as well as lots of tables with little fire pits outside and lots of games. On the weekends, they have live music. When we visited artist Russ Stills was there. It was very relaxing and enjoyable. He even came around the audience meeting and greeting with each table and taking requests. This is a fantastic spot to grab a drink and listen to good music and take in the beauty of the vineyard. 10 out of 10 for sure!

Somewhere in the mountains of Ellijay is this beautiful vineyard that I can tell is perfect at any…read moreseason and any day of the week.. What's not to say about this spot. Open everyday (perfect for people like me that are visiting in the middle of the week for a random event and wants something to do) or the perfect date night.. Service was perfect: friendly and knowledgeable. Order at the counter and then find your seat. PLENTY of options for seating depending on your mood AND, if they have the space open or not. Food options are limited during the week but during the weekend, they have a full menu. I had a charcuterie board that was hardy and full of options. I also had a red wine flight that was perfect for the cold evening. Then there was the sunset. Oh the sunset.. ugh just perfect with the French jazzy music and pure tranquil atmosphere. I absolutely loved this place. I was told they have live music during the weekend and have most of the areas open as well but since it was Tuesday, it was limited. They also have a private event space. I only wish I lived near by, this would be a regular spot for me!

Visited this winery with a group and had a disappointing experience with how service was handled…read more Our table was told we were being cut off due to alleged behavior that did not apply to our group, and despite clarifying the situation, service remained inconsistent across our party. The situation felt mismanaged and could have been resolved with clearer communication and better verification before refusing service. Unfortunately, it impacted the overall guest experience enough that we chose to leave. Hoping this constructive feedback helps improve consistency and service moving forward.
