From a square shape, to almond, back to square again. Then I decided to try just polish. Turns out habits are called that for a reason, they are hard to break. Do not let the home salon fool you...she is more sterile than any other nail shop I've been to, which is plenty and some hospitals without losing its wonderful retro charm. She educates and will keep you informed of your nail and health and got my feet looking all smooth for the first time in years. After years of bad chop shop pedi's, Coriana was able to correct the damage done by these shops where well, hygiene is not the first priority. Glue was also left stuck on my finger and never properly cleaned off. Over the years I thought Nancy did not like me because no matter how much I said hello, tried to make conversation and gave good tips she was very serious, hardly acknowledged me when I came in she never wished me a nice day or thanked me for a tip. She shows no basic customer service in politeness. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt because I did like how my nails were done, but yesterday I read through other reviews where others were treated rudely by Nancy. Other customers also said Smile Nail employees would call them if they are even 1 minute late for their appointment threatening to give their appointment away. I had the same experience. Then I would walk in the salon and no one would even be there, they weren't even that busy. Frankly, those phone calls made me feel a bit harassed but I let it slide and tried to remain a loyal customer. Other times if I asked for my mani pedi to be done separate, Nancy would get upset and say, " I'already told you before, you have to request that ahead of time, as if its my fault for not keeping track of all her rules. " It's rude and I don't need to be chastised like a child, especially in front of other customers. I pay too much money and give nice tips to be treated so harshly. They are losing workers and recently I have noticed they only have one other guy still working with them. Lin is friendly and gives good pedicures. She recently complained to me that no one wants to work for them. Perhaps if they created a kinder environment others would want to continue working there. I ended up calling back a couple hours later and just cancelling my appointment. I will no longer be going to Smile Nails or recommending them. I hope they stop and read these comments and work harder on their attitude.

She is who I insist on, when I go to the salon. She turns your hand around to various angles to ensure the nails are even, and really takes her time. Very professional at what she does. Don't expect to be entertained though - if you want entertainment, perhaps bringing along some earphones and watching a soap, or some other drama on your cell... would be a good idea.
