The stylist I was seated with never once clarified her identity, even when I showed her a photo of a hairstyle from the salon's website created by the stylist I originally booked. She never once said, that's not my work. When my appointment confirmation text came through, I noticed the name didn't match. I returned to the salon, and the receptionist told me, "Oh, I gave you to someone else since your stylist was late." WHAT?!!! And you didn't think to tell me??? To make matters worse, the stylist they switched me to has only been at the salon for a few months and isn't even being promoted on the salon's website, while the stylist I chose has years of experience -- a detail that mattered to me.
