The service has been excellent and exceeded my expectations every time. The waiters and waitresses go out of their way to make me and other patrons feel welcome and special. Today I tried the green curry for the first time. The flavors were complex and wonderful and melted together in my mouth. It was a very generous portion, even though it was a lunch portion. The sushi was impeccably made. One of my favorite things on the menu is the Tom Kha Gai soup. I recommended it to three other people and they all agreed it was some of the most delicious soup they had ever eaten. Just the right blend of flavors and spices. Absolutely incredible. Worth going to the restaurant just to get the soup! The ambience is cozy and nice and not overcrowded. The prices are reasonable, especially for lunch. You receive such large portions! Zheng Asian Bistro is my number one favorite restaurant in Glenwood Springs.

Soup and rice come with the entree but we also ordered egg rolls which were quite crisp and yummy. We did notice that the curry dish had an almost sour cream/cream cheese tang that was off putting and the eggplant was almost non-existent even though that's why we chose the dish. As for the stir fry it seemed a bit tomatoey for us to really love it. Still, we left in a good food coma for $33.

The husband ordered the bento box which was perfect because he couldn't decide what to get, so it was a little bit of everything. The food was great! The service was a little rushed because they were busy, but our server was personable and friendly. There was a birthday at another table, and it was fun to have the entire restaurant join in on singing. They also had a fun animal headband for the birthday girl. It was a little pricey and cost us about $120 for 4 people (not including tax) but it was good, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We were seated for lunch when a teenager at the table behind us began making videos of herself with loud music playing repeatedly. The behavior was disruptive enough that it made it difficult for us to enjoy our meal. What made the situation more frustrating was that her parents did nothing to address it. I asked to be moved to another table and explained the situation to the waitstaff. They acknowledged my concern, but neither of the two men working made any effort to speak with the table or address the disruptive behavior. In my opinion, this is ultimately the restaurant's responsibility. Customers should not have to tolerate loud, disruptive behavior simply because other parents choose not to manage it. When you're spending approximately $70 on lunch, it's reasonable to expect a comfortable dining environment. I understand that restaurants can't control every customer's behavior, but they can control how they respond when a customer is clearly disrupting the experience of everyone around them. Unfortunately, the lack of response from the staff is the reason I will not be returning. The food may have been fine, but good customer service includes making sure all guests can enjoy their meal without being subjected to someone else's disruptive behavior.

Not a big deal, just seemed lazy considering it wasn't a busy night. We ordered an appetizer to share, and I ordered a drink special(huckleberry vodka with lemonade). I'm not exaggerating when I say I waited 30 minutes to be told their lemonade was flat, would I like it with something else. I was very understanding, and said sure, I'll go with a sprite. We then ordered our rolls. We each ordered 2 rolls. I ordered mine without avocado(allergic). We got our appetizer which the waitress suggested the fried shui mai. It was very good. Then came our rolls. As previously mentioned, we ordered 2 rolls each and we were each served with our own plate with 2 rolls. When I looked down I had 2 rolls with avocado(only 1 even mentioned it had avocado in the menu) so I unfortunately sent them back. Long story short they took an insane amount of time to remake the 2 rolls and he was already done with his, so I just told them to forget it and left. Will never revisit this spot

I ordered an unsweetened iced tea despite most restaurants wanting you to purchase alcohol. My server was Tricia. She was great. I got the new appetizer, Corn Fritters with a spicy ranch dip. Definite comfort food. They were running a smokehouse special of 1/2 rack ribs + a 2nd meat for only $22. It includes two sides. I got the corn on the cob and a side salad. A large piece of Texas toast is included. 1/2 rack was 5 ribs and my 2nd meat was bbq chicken. There were several sauces available for the meats. I was able to get oil & vinegar which is rare for a dressing. The corn sat in a small saucer with melted butter. Nice touch. The wooden skewer made it easy to salt & pepper it, then pour the butter over all. So despite this feast, I opted for the Chocolate Cream Pie. A tall rich pie on an Oreo cookie crust. Yummy. They offer a 2% discount to avoid a card fee if you paid cash, like I did. So a great meal + tip for only $48.
