Ambiance: cozy, great decoration - transports you to china. However, it was incredibly busy when we got there and despite having a reservation, we waited 30minutes past our time to get seated. Staff was understanding however and the manager gave us a free appetizer and plum juice with a 10% discount on the bill so that was very sweet.
Overall food was incredibly yummy - obviously leans toward the sweeter side since thats the traditional profile of this region's cuisine but the sweetness ins't overbearing. Loved their fried matcha mochi in their dimsum section - super chewy, not super sweet. Their drunken chicken is also amazing (not sure what it's called in english so this is a direct translation from chinese) - meat was incredibly flavorful and tender, the skin was crisp with a nice bite.
Overall highly recommend but would definitely make a reservation for the manhattan location or would go to the flushing location instead (much less hectic) read more
