We first tried to eat here on a Thursday evening, but when we arrived there was a 25-minute wait if you had not made a reservation. It was raining that day, so we opted to just find another place to eat. The following evening (Friday), we had a bit more time to prepare so we made a reservation with them at 6 p.m. The layout of the restaurant is somewhat unusual. You enter in a small space (which may have had a couple of tables at sidewalk-level, but I'm not sure). You then climb a half-flight of stairs up past a kitchen area to the main dining room. Here they had several tables along each wall extending towards the back, where they had an additional 2 - 3 tables. We sat in the back. If the weather is nice, they may have a couple of tables out on the sidewalk, but again I'm not certain of that. If anyone in your party is disabled, you may have a limited seating option. That wasn't an issue for us, though. Where we sat in the back, we got to watch them prepare the cocktails. The place was busy but our server kept checking on us. Our drinks came out fairly quickly. The entrees took a bit longer, but the timing was still reasonable. I got a noodle dish which was quite good. The portion was reasonable and I finished it. I think both the others in our party got soup-noodle combinations which they also liked. The place appeared to be a family-run business (potentially). The staff managed the crowd well. Though you need to plan ahead a bit, the meal here was worth it. If I were back in Brussels, I'd consider returning here for a meal.

Everyone ate all of their food. Now the servers were pleasant to European standards, which meant they let you be and came over when asked. The prices were a little on the pricier side of things but for the tourist area we were in seemed reasonable. The restaurant itself was in a shopping district with lots of great stores nearby. I found it cleaned and comfy, but other than the food nothing to write home about! If you are in the area and would like fast good food, I would give this place shot!

I was looking forward to trying this restaurant in Gent, especially after reading all the good…read morereviews on Tripadvisor. The place is nice, but quite noise. We sat on the first floor, which is anyway communicating with the ground floor, where the atmosphere is very nice. We ordered 2 starters: tuna with sesame and some "mosselen" and 2 main dishes (fish and chicken). After that we had one dessert and a whiskey (I'd like to specify, a normal one, not very old or "special"). We drank two glasses of red wine (again, "normal"), and a bottle of water. The food, especially the starters, were very good, while the main dishes were ok, but nothing that I would define as good as the many reviews I have read here. We payed 60 euros each, which I found way too much for what we have eaten and drunk. You can find cheaper places at the same level or better in Milan. So, to conclude, nice food, but way too expensive.
