The conversation became very confusing, and instead of handling it professionally, she repeatedly said "oh my gosh," laughed during the call, and spoke to me in a rude tone. When she mentioned that my information was not on file, I explained that I was calling because I was a new patient. She responded by saying, "Well, you should've said that before." At that point, I expressed that I felt she was being rude and unprofessional and simply asked for the referral doctor's phone number instead. She then hung up on me. It's unfortunate that someone seeking medical help would be treated this way. Patients should be treated with patience, professionalism, and respect, especially during their first interaction with a medical office. Hanging up on a patient and making them feel mocked or dismissed is unacceptable.

I took the medicine and recovered after I finished the medicine. Amy was very friendly and answered my questions on the doctors and clinic/office operations. 2nd visit was for my pain at the back of the ankle (achilles) for almost 3 months. Don walked in with a huge smile and very friendly and checked my foot and found a bump at the back of heel that needed x-ray to confirm. (when I saw my podiatrist twice in the last month, he didn't even notice it). only problem is the x-ray order form had a wrong address that I ended up driving around to find the correct location. I've decided to make an appointment with the MD in the house to see if I can change my PCP to this location for convenience. earliest appointment is 2 months away, hopefully this is bc MD is on travel, and not a typical trend for scheduling. but at least the PAs were knowledgeable and the staffs were very friendly. He showed very little patience and seemed completely unwilling to listen or provide any assistance. This kind of attitude is unacceptable for someone working at the front desk of a healthcare facility. Patients come to a clinic because they need help, and the very least they should receive is basic courtesy, patience, and respect. Based on my interaction with him, John needs significant customer-service training before working in a position that requires direct interaction with patients. First the office staff are very professional and accommodating, next the clinic staff who takes your vitals are professional and ensure they use universal precautions to ensure there are no cross contamination from patient to patient. This is a biggie for me when it comes to doctor offices. Last, Dr. Rishi Majithia. This is my fourth appointment seeing him. I was recommended to him by my daughter in law who is a medical professional. I was initially very skeptical because doctors now days care more about money than the care they provide. Dr. Majithia, my first appointment he listened to my complaints and concerns, gave his feed back, made slight recommendations and genuinely seem as if he cared. By my second appointment he actually was able to repeat some of the concerns from the previous appt and made excellent recommendation. This let me know he actually was listening and taking appropriate notes the first appointment. By my third appointment he addressed all my medical concerns, started me on new meds which we both agreed, made legitimate realistic goals for me to follow and seemed as if he really cared about my well being. Again he was able to recite all my previous complaints from the past appointments. ((He really Listens). Today, I had my fourth appt. I can now say I have found a provider who is knowledgeable, competent, up to date with society and current medical trends. Knowledgeable of Diabetes, and is genuinely concerned about his patients. Seems he has a passion for his profession. When he took his Oath to be a doctor to care for patients he did it because he wanted to see a change in people and he care about people's health. If your looking for a doctor who cares about his patient's, current on medical knowledge, doesn't rush you during appointments, listens, there is no need to go further. Dr. Rishi Majithia is an excellent choice!
