WHAT AN AMAZING ATTORNEY!!!! My experience with the Veliz Law Group from the beginning until now,…read morehas been nothing but professional, courteous, and accommodating. I have a case for relocation, which is very very VERY hard to win in Florida. However, during my consultation, Attorney Veliz explained the law, his approach, and how to proceed. He did not promise any outcomes, but he kept to his word on what he said he would do, HE ACTUALLY DID!!! He kept his timelines, followed up when he said he would, and was always available to answer any questions during the process when needed. Additionally, his staff is so professional, and accommodating, I did not believe that law firms like this existed. Now the actual day in the court room came, and I WON THE CASE FOR RELOCATION!!! David is a BULL DOG in the court. He is strong is his approach when he needs to object, and has the facts to back up his arguments, I was blown away. David's law group was also accommodating when it came to payment, he never tried to nickel and dime me, and was willing to work out a payment plan that would work for both of us. With all due respect an honesty, I have been to many lawyers, and had an awful experience, like most people say they have. However, Veliz Law Group will give you the courteous, professional, and knowledgeable experience that you deserve, and paid for!!! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!

A very weak attorney and comes across as being angry and impatient all the time, rarely makes eye…read morecontact with you while having a conversation, in fact looks away. Terrible at depositions and court hearings, when asking a question of the witness he does not wait for the complete response he instead talks over the response and then starts a verbal banter with the witness causing confusion to what the question and answer was. Also witness will answer with a nod or shake of the head which the court reporter cannot record as an answer he then doesn't tell the witness to verbally respond. When the transcript is read it is very difficult to follow the testimony and would be problematic to use for the purpose of impeachment. He gives the impression to be mentally preoccupied with other things while doing the instant case. Charges a lot of time for research on basic legal issues and invoices are excessive for the work he does. Poor performance and preparedness with case resulting in negative and very expensive outcome for this former client. Do not recommend.

As expected I received top level service, and shocking results from hiring Mazin Law. Lyle was my attorney on both occasions I hired Mazin Law. Lyle is prompt, knows his way to proper resolutions in the court, and went above, and beyond in constant communication, and treating me with 5-Star, VIP style, care and service. I have seen Lyle maneuver heavy complicated cases with ease, grace, poise, and comfortability repeatedly. I noticed how Lyle is extremely respected in the courts by officials of the court, as opposed to other lawyers, and law firms that seemed unorganized, and not very well representative of their clients. If you have a legal matter you want handled confidently, and with top-notch results, Mazin Law is the only firm in Orlando to be chosen as your first choice. I promise you this. I was referred to Mazin Law from a personal friend many years ago, and I am, and will continue to be a person to refer Mazin Law to others as well. Thank you to the Mazin Law team, and Lyle for helping put my large life obstacles as a priority by your law firm to aid in keeping my life on a positive, and growing track. I'm eternally grateful, and will always use Mazin Law for any unforeseen legal issues that would arise in the future.

google reviews are way higher for leach firm for some reason. I think the majority of there reviews…read moreare for personal injury cases. i think the majority of their cases are personal injury as well. My case was related to workplace discrimination; im a black engineer. At the time that I hired leach firm I was earning close to 200k a year. I had no performance issue with my former employer until after I hit them with a eeoc complaint. My case was well documented as well. I filled a racial discrimination complaint against my now former employer with the help of Leach firm. Leach firm works on a contingency plan (60%/40%) My attorney was Ed Wimp initially but half way through my case he resigned and started his own practice. My case was then taken over by attorney ryan glover whom also is not with leach firm any more. When the Leach firm opened the eeoc case my former employer retaliated against me making my life a living hell with increased work load, excessive scrutiny of my work, condescending comments in meetings, eventually placing me on a performance improvement plan (PIP) over the course of several month and then firing me. they wanted me out clearly. Before I was fired I explained to my attorney about the egregious work environment and they urged me not to quit as that would jeopardize my case. I was sickly during that time of being placed on a pip. even diagnosed with ptsd. I endured it following the strategy of my attorney which was that firing me after filling a eeoc claim can be considered retaliation thinking it would pay off bigger in the long run. So we finally get to mediation about 6 months (im still unemployed and living on savings) after I was fired because my former employer attorney strategically changed the mediation date about 5 times pushing out the mediation meeting which by the way my attorney never disputed. Im not saying that his dispute would change anything but from the optics it just appeared he didn't give a 2 cents about any of the faulty etiquette of mediation postponement. We started negotiations at 185K and after 6 hours of back and forth it went down to 60K and I knew I was in trouble. I specifically told my attorney my bottom number was 80K. by the way the leach firm have in their contracts a disclaimer that they can override your decision to accept a offer if they feel the offer is adequate. after 8 hours the offer was down to 45K. I was livid and here is why. Optics again, no fight from my attorney. My attorney's strategy was basically take the offer because if we go to court we may lose because these cases are hard to win especially in Florida federal so its better to get something now than nothing later. The leach firm did more negotiating with me during mediation on why I should accept the 45K than they did trying to argue why I deserved a higher amount to the opposing legal team. I felt as if I was being ambushed. For the leach firm it was all about getting the most money for the least amount of work. Nothing in their process about getting the most you deserve. There approach is cookie cutter and neglects to utilize the uniqueness of each case. They think in volume only. handling quantity of cases instead of providing quality to cases. It makes for good business to just think about volume of cases but thinking only in volume reflects on poor reputation of the firm when it comes to performance. Had I had know that going through the pip, getting fired, getting ptsd, getting insulted at work, being unemployed for 6 months wasn't going to strengthening my case in terms of what my attorney could use for arguments to fight for higher damage compensation for me I would have just quit because me staying in that hostile work environment only benefited the leach firm and not me.
