Instead of helping, she just walked away and refused to do her job. Mind you the office JUST opened. Completely unacceptable behavior. What's worse is that the managers are just as incompetent--allowing their staff to treat customers this way without addressing it. It's clear that there's no leadership or accountability here. Your GP gives you the paperwork and address, you call or go online to set up an appointment, you show up at your scheduled time, and you get pricked. They take your blood, bandage up your stab wound, and send you on your way. What happens from there... well... I have no idea. They do some testing I guess, send the results back to your GP, and you get a call. Hopefully a short and sweet one. Here at the collection center, you can expect friendly staff, a fairly fast process, easy parking and freeway access, and a generally hassle-free time. Even first thing in the morning, which is when you're likely to be here, since you normally have to fast for 9 hours prior to a panel... at least if they're testing for blood sugar and such. Aside from the pokes and the pricks, the customer experience here is pretty painless.

I'm talking about Zac, Vanessa & Elizabeth. They are not only gentle with the needle, allow use of the butterfly needle unlike the others, but are friendly, patient, sweet & easy to work with. Their kinder in a stressful pandemic situation than others were outside a pandemic. Unfortunately Zac is at another location now and Vanessa floats to different locations. Fortunately Elizabeth is still there... for now. The location is good about Covid safety. They are now by appointment only so you're in the office with no more than 1 other person. You only walk in once you get the text to go in after you check in on your phone. They check your temp when you walk in, not that that helps asymptomatic cases, but they can only do what they can. They have Purell hand sanitizers, not the cheap dollar store Assured brand a doctors office had that was FDA recalled for methanol! So glad I slathered that baby on all over :/

I've used New Century Labs multiple times over the last couple of years. So far I've been very…read morepleased with the service I receive. I for one, believe that the patient should have the right to participate in their own care. During this pandemic I'd rather not go to a doctors office full of sick people to get orders for a routine lab test. I have had low platelet counts in the past and had a radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer as well. Both of these conditions require that I have my blood checked periodically. Rather than schedule a doctor's appointment I can just get on their website, select the appropriate test and by the following morning I can print up my lab orders. The charges for their tests are very competitive with other online labs. They also partner with Quest Diagnostics in my tiny town so, I have a location for the blood draw within a mile of my house. Within a few days I receive an email and can download and print my results. If something is amiss THEN I can schedule a visit to my doctor to discuss treatment. Otherwise, I have peace of mind that my condition is holding steady. I will definitely continue to count on them as a valuable health resource.

They quoted me me 2-3 days on the analysis (which was fine) but had something for me 24 hours later. Way to over-deliver! I also called them about how to best take samples and what they needed. As a residence owner, not a contractor, their help and reassurance was very valuable. Had 3 different samples tested and thankfully only 2 of them had asbestos in them. I believe he is related to the JSE Labs Owners. I wanted to warn people to avoid using Hunter for any testing or reporting. Our results were incomplete and incorrect and we have spent several thousand dollars to correct his work.

Please go anywhere else than here, unless you plan on wasting your day away in the waiting room. Overall horrendous care. And Labcorp, do not apologize and respond with any "we will look into this to make your experience better" nonsense. That's been said already, yet here we are, still experiencing awful care at your hand.
