The young woman working there did not say a word and just started to ring up my order.I gave her my credit cardShe then proceeded to put all 4 bottle of wines into a single paper bag. I asked her to separate the wines into two bags and she snapped at me and said "We don't usually do that". I found myself having to explain to a clerk that two of the bottles are gifts and the other two are for my own enjoyment. She begrudingly pulled out a second bag and put two bottles in it. She then decided the first bag she used was too big so she pulled out the remaining two bottles and use the bottles while still in her hand to knock the bigger paper bag off the surface while her other free hand pulled out a smaller bag. Wow, really? I bought $63.00+ worth of wine from you and you are giving me an attitude? Really? Is it because I'm Asian? she was quite pleasant with the Caucasian customer before me. This is my last visit to this liquor store.

The absolute best wine store I have been to in Massachusetts or New Hampshire. Is it the biggest?…read moreNo. Does it specialize in 1980s vintage Bordeaux? Not really. But what it does offer...is a very good selection of wine drinkers' wine, an owner who will give you great advice and offer to order most bottles on your wish list, awesome prices and an excellent case and half case discount. It's not pretentious inside, but the staff is helpful when you need them. The layout is pretty structured (the lower shelf stuff doesn't clog the main aisles). It's just a really solid, inviting place to shop regularly for bottles you love, and bottles you have yet to try. I've been to the majors in the area - Kappy's, Marty's, Gordons, Harrisons, Wegmans, etc. and Westford Wine & Spirits offers me better pricing on more of the bottles I actually buy and is much more convenient. I even had 2 corked bottles that they refunded without question. If I had to nitpick, I would like an expanded Australian section or South African section. But I am there pretty much every other week and look forward to each trip like it's Christmas Eve. Ho ho ho!

It's been empty for years. This is now a very good beer and wine store. Open and clean and well labeled, they carry a good selection of mid-level wines- nothing over $20 that I could see. Some hard liquor - some brands I'd never seen before which was neat. Excellent beer selection and a number of local places are here too. Medusa from Hudson is here. The sell lotto tickets too. Cashier was very friendly and helpful not only to us but others in the store. It looks like some other business was meant to go in here - I figured a brand new place would be sparking but the floor has had some repairs and there is open space towards the back. But I am grateful this is here and will be back!

Friendly, welcoming owners, knowledgeable about their products. Steve had me taste a nice red blend that was mostly Zin, a moscato, and a Malbec. I bought the Malbec and another blend, for about $35. There are higher-priced bottles of wine here, but it was great to see a decent selection across price points. I also sampled a lovely sage and mushroom olive oil and cranberry-pear balsamic vinegar. They're planning to hold tastings and workshops with wine makers, cheese makers, and chocolatiers; I'm looking forward to attending some of those soon.

I stopped by to return cans and do some gift shopping for a party that my wife and I are attending this upcoming weekend. Returning cans here with my family is something that I have done many times since I was a child and it is a tradition I have carried on with my family. Unfortunately, this ends today. Today, my wife was rudely denied access to their facilities and told to go to a different establishment to use the restroom. Despite this, every other time that I have shopped here in my life we have been able to use the facilities here. I am incredibly upset by this unexpected and unwarranted insult. It is common sense that a reputable and good business should provide customer access to bathroom facilities but maybe that common decency and expectation has changed, I don't know. Perhaps it is time that someone gets active and works to establish a law requiring such access for everyone. Have a good day and thank you for reading.

This was a memorable late Fall experience. And hands down, one of the very best Vineyard…read moreexperiences we've ever had. Averill Vineyard has had a tasting room dating for at least 20 years. It is a family owned and operated business, and has been A family owned and operated farm from 1830. The Vineyard now follows organic principles with 11 different varieties of grapes. In 2012, the family went to Spain. Their grandmother suggested they open a vineyard and they took her counsel to heart. They cultivated hearty wines to begin; Concord, Catawba and Niagara varieties. As time went by, they expanded their selections. Today, they have a truly diverse collection of vines, from Tempranillo to Cabernet. The unique part of visiting this vineyard is the personal attention we get from the owners. Our group got to not only see each step of the production, but then got to bottle, cork and foil our own bottle. Afterwards, we got to see and sample not only the wine selections, but a wonderful selection of hors d'oeuvres. It was really, really a unique and memorable occasion.
