Parents beware!!!! I am disgusted with this office. I changed MD 2x w/in practice. Dr. Sheila L. Morehouse, poor bed side manners and judgmental. Then Dr. Jaymi K. Formaggio who was nice but slow in action as my final result in leaving the practice. My daughter is an infant with bad spit problems and not gaining weight. They didn't seem to think this was much of an issue. It wasn't until I blew up they said maybe a consult with GI would be a good idea. I changed formula about 5 times and she is only 11 weeks old. Some of the RN staff need a refresher course on being a gentle and caring nurse. Mary is very rough on the edges and not sure if she likes her job. Working with children is not her specialty. On another occasion my baby had a black tongue and we saw Dr. Jacques Sulahiah. Who simple said he doesn't know what it is. Sent me home with more different formula and dismissed my concern! My friend who is a GI pedi RN said it was thresh. REALLY! He didn't even bother to pretend to discuss this with other co-worker. He may be very nice to children but question his ability as a good Pediatrician. My daughter was finally seen by a new Pedi and he was very surprised at the lack of action Chelmsford pediatrics took with my daughter. In his view my daughter is not gaining enough weight as she should and a GI appointment should have been done so long ago. His concern was so big his office called MGH and got us an urgent appointment tomorrow. I am totally disgusted and very upset that it has taken me this long to be taken serious as well as my daughter being sent to a GI specialist. PARENT DON'T GO HERE. you want more than good hours and flexible appointment. your children need Pediatricians willing to go beyond the norm for their healthcare. I've waited 3 weeks for my son whom needed to be seen by a ENT to finally be able to get an appointment to coordinate with a audiology test! I've submitted a request for a insurance referral (also ENT office sent one too) left 3 vm also spoken to the receptionist and referral department personally. Two weeks later to only hear it has not been completed mind you his appointment is this upcoming Monday 09/11. Called the office yesterday to only hear Laurie is out and hasn't done a Aetna referral in years let's not mentioned Karen was no help either , so frustrating how do you guys run your office? We've been going to Chelmsford Pediatrics for almost 17 years with our 4 children. We've had nothing but positive experiences with the staff and physicians in this practice. They've kindly answered any calls or concerns promptly, they find a way to fit us in even on their busiest days whenever an illness arises, our kids love their doctor, and he has always been so understanding, caring, accurate, and compassionate to our family. read more

UPDATE: I am sad to say that the practice underwent changes in the last year that had a serious and negative impact on the care that the children receive and on the way that they deal with administration and billing. For nearly two years, our child received good care and we didn't have any doubts about sending our newborn twins there. We even stuck with them after our favorite doctor abruptly left the practice. But in late 2016/2017, it became one nightmare after another. They got appointment dates wrong and blamed us. They were completely disorganized in dealing with our transition from the NICU to their practice. Calls to their emergency helpline, which was a huge help to us during our first child's first few months, were terrible. It apparently has been farmed out to doctors unaffiliated with the practice who were...not helpful, to say the least. My oldest son had some troubling results from his bloodwork during his 2 year physical, which they literally never addressed with me. No phone call, no explanation, nothing, and it's now been 6 months. They were rude and hostile when we asked for routine things, like copies of their records for daycare and, ultimately, to go to a new practice. And now on top of that, they have been hounding me to pay them copays for wellness visits that are 100% covered by insurance, because they coded the visits wrong (as sickness visits instead of covered check-ups for my infants). And even though I have called on more than one occasion, wasted a lot of my time on the phone with them trying to sort it out, they maintain NO record of my calls. And frankly, I find it interesting that they never asked for copays at the time of these visits; the bills only started coming after I left the practice. Exam rooms very dirty, check the ares on the table where there is a crease so much dirt and grime. Office staff rather rude. Doctors were caring but not worth the wait, rudeness of office staff, and dirty rooms to get to them. Update your office!! read more

I used to be a huge fan of this office and really enjoyed Dr. Morehouse. Lately, the staff seems to grow increasingly rude and negligent. They overlooked my daughter's immunizations for over a year. The only reason I even found out was because of my daughter's school nurse who informed me she would not be able to attend school without them. During the initial phone call to Chelmsford Pediatrics I did not let on at how irritated I was with the fact they let this go for so long. I booked an appointment and took time off work to get her up-to-date for school. A week and a half after going into the office I received a voicemail stating I would need to bring her in again. At this point I was irritated. I asked the nurse why it was not brought to my attention she needed to be seen during the initial call to book her. The woman acted as though I did not have the right to be irritated and said it was not for immunizations. They did not understand the point, If I a single mother have to take time off of work I would rather do everything all in one shot instead of having to keep taking time off when it is not necessary. Needless to say I have already started looking for another office. Maybe one that has a more understanding staff, less wait times and keeps up with their records. read more
