We were given menus and we waited 25 minutes. We didn't even get the opportunity to order drinks, the guy didn't even ask. We didn't have any more time to wait for any service as we were hungry and had plans later that day. If it were to take 30 plus minutes to even order drinks, no idea how long the food would have taken. We had to leave. Disappointed.

Meanwhile a lady started her belly dancing routine. It was entertaining . The service was good with our wait person being able to answer our questions demonstrating a familiarity with the menu. We both had teas- mine green my partner chose mint. The appetizer of a yogurt dip with pita bread was satisfying. I had the Cornish hen which was tender, succulent and delicious. My partner had a chicken kebab atop a salad which she loved. We declined the offer to get a dessert as we were quite full. Overall we had nothing to complain about. I am not clear why the place was only half full on a Saturday evening especially the first day of the balloon fiesta. It deserves a lot more. (This review posted by author on other sites too)

The good: - the rice is good and in line with what I've…read moreeaten at other Persian (Irani) restaurants. - salads seem fresh and a good amount of clean greens - very good service, polite staff The bad: - beef koobideh had absolutely no flavor to it, no spices, tasted like rubber, almost something you'd make at home by rolling up ground beef. I don't believe it was even made fresh, probably made the night before or early in the morning ready to be served when someone placed the order - chicken souvalaki , same thing no flavor, no salt. Add some salt. I feel like Pars has an identity crisis. They can't seem to figure out if they're Greek or Persian, they're two different cuisines. I know they should be Persian because the owner has roots in Iran. For the amount they charge for entrees you can eat somewhere cheaper (even at home). I feel bad for them but something needs to change.

This is a major hidden gem of Santa Fe -- perhaps our best meal after living here for a month. We…read morehad the Mezze for 2 and the Tajine for 2, and both had wonderful flavors and a variety of spices without being hot spicy (though you could add harissa if you wanted to). We're normally big meat eaters but we're very, very happy with the vegetarian dishes here. The Mezze came with falafel, eggplant, salad (outstanding flavor), hummus, and very good hot pita bread. The Tajine was a delectable and we loved the presentation of it in the traditional clay pot. It had slow cooked vegetables (carrots, zucchini, sweet potatoes, etc) and was partially sweet with dates. But the highlight was the Moroccan mint tea, served traditionally in glasses and poured from high up. I haven't had tea that good in awhile (and yes I go to the Teahouse). Warning -- this is a BYOB restaurant, so bring your bottle of wine with you (and save money). Will definitely return.

A little tough to find the entrance to the restaurant--enter The Body studio main door in the middle of the building, and then the restaurant is nestled to the far back and left of the front desk. Low mood lighting makes it hard to read the menus but you can use your smartphone flashlight. Great service with in-depth explanation of each dish. We ordered the signature traditional tajine, the mezze platter, and a plant-based chicken shawarma plate with potato chips. I enjoyed a dirty chai and a family member enjoyed a Kacha'va superfoods smoothie with chocolate. A delicious vegetarian/vegan Mediterranean feast! I enjoyed the different spices, textures, and flavors in the mezze platter and tajine. Plan to spend $30 plus per person if you get a beverage.

The place has ample room for multiple people and the decor seemed nice. The music was quite delightful. Our server was one of the most polite servers we have ever had. Even though we were two of four people, our food was slow to come out. But the wait was worth it. We ordered the special Kurdish bread covered in butter and filled with green onions. The hubby ordered the chicken breast kabob with south of the border chicken. I got the boneless lamb kabob. With our orders came a surprise Kurdish soup with lentils, fideos, and Kurdish spices. First, the bread and soups were simple yet familiar, powerful, and delicious. The lamb was tender, well seasoned, and delightful. Now, the south of the border chicken breast was an amazing surprise; it was juicy, tender, a bit spicy, and absolutely perfect. The rice was another great example of simplicity and beauty. Overall, this was a new great spot for good food and service. The dishes look simple, but don't be deceived, as you will find a ton of great flavors.

The woman serving was pleasant and hustling but she clearly needed more help as the place got packed quickly for a Friday lunch. The table by the window had a sticky floor from a clearly evident soda spill and the window was grimed with handprints of children. Folks, that should have been cleaned before you left last night. Come on, people! Food was cooked to order and was fine (not great this time) and in a nice portion size. It was served on a wooden cutting board - after seeing the inadequate cleaning job on the floor and window, I had to wonder how well last night's crew had actually sanitized the cutting board. Sorry, but I no longer want to rush back. One good thing: wifi for customers is norascafe25 .

Apparently they didn't have hummus even though the menu showed it available, which is fine these things happen but they didn't let me know ahead of time; they just told the driver when he came and asked him to ask me if I wanted to replace it with a slice of pie. I tried to message the driver back but he was already on the way 3 minutes after the message. I called the restaurant, they had someone answer the phone who doesn't speak English and only speaks Spanish. I mean, I think the phone rep speaking English is definitely not a bad idea when your customers speak English, but let's put that aside, I happen to know a little rusty Spanish so I spoke to him and I told him I didn't order desert on purpose , but he can send extra of an item I already did order , he said it was too late and just hung up on me. The food got here and the tabouli was awful, worst I've ever had. The dolmas tasted canned, the Greek salad was barely eatable , the garlic dip was more like a garlic mash, and everything tasted like it went bad and was sitting out for hours
