I lost my mom almost 11 years ago, 6 months ago I lost my father as well. When COVID hit us I started meditating every night. Slowly, but surely I started to shift towards energy feeling. I had an itch to learn more about it. I remembered that one of my Facebook friends posted something about Reiki class. And that was Amy! I worked with her years ago at Massage Envy. I contacted her and took my firs Reiki class. "Connecting the dots" book by Heather McCutcheon was given to me by Amy after Reiki 1 class. Instead of putting that book on my shelf for dust to collect I needed to read it bc I was eager to learn if that even a real thing. And very fast I realized it is a real thing! A sentence from that book "When student is ready teacher appears" turned a switch on. Now it makes sense to me! I took Reiki 2 with Amy with no hesitation. It was a game changer for me. Looking forward to more learning, growing, experiencing. Love love Amy and Reiki

I visited and after having a pleasant first experience, I received an offer to purchase a package. I did so. With one remaining, I received a message asking me to book the last one soon. Options were limited so I selected what was available. A day or so later, I had death in the family so I canceled. The appointment was canceled four days in advance. I received a reply asking me if a week later at the same time would work. I indicated it wouldn't and that I'd contact her at a later time to reschedule. Agnes replied with. "Make sure you schedule asap. I'll get busy during the holiday season and will not be accepting the package next year". When it was purchased, an expiration was not mentioned or provided at any time. Upon hearing this, I pointed out that no timeframe was given and it appeared to be offered as a way to retain new clients. I also explained that this arbitrary decision was self serving and sent at a very difficult time for me. I went to explain I was dealing with death in the family and asked Agnes to put me down for ANY time between Dec 26-31 and I'd be there. Or, given the exchange. I offered to have her refund me via the method used (Zelle). To be clear, Agnes did NOT schedule me as requested and she did NOT return the money. In response to the comment below:: I told her I couldn't talk much more due to grief and she continued to send long paragraphs as if it was a lovers quarrel. I reminded her of her repeated pleas for "good" reviews and stated that this misleading and self serving practice is something others should be aware of. It's how others make informed decisions.
