Great local park. Only problem is parking in the summer. There is a relatively small parking area…read morethat is great most of the year. But once the summer visitors roll in, it fills quickly and people park along the highway, and up into the neighborhoods. Locals are okay with that for the most part, but cut them a break and don't block driveways, block off the road, etc. You know what I mean! Nice access to the lake and a nice area for swimming. Lots of trees, so lots of places to picnic. Restrooms are available. And there's a sand-court volleyball setup. Refreshments are just a block away, so no concerns about not having enough water. Operated and maintained by Chelan County PUD, which does an excellent job keeping the park looking good.

Between filling up at the gas station and getting back to the rental dock the gas gage had gone from full to 3/4. The kid checking me in called up to his manager who told him they said they could charge me (extra inflated marina prices for 1/4 of the tank) or I could fill it myself back at the gas dock. So I went back, spending almost 45 minutes to "fill" for less than two gallons of gas. I will never rent from them again.

Of all the public lakefront recreational areas around Chelan, Don Morse Memorial Park is always our…read morego-to place whenever we're in town. Parking will run you $10 (2 hours) or $15 (6 hours). There is also a 24-hr rate, but I can't recall what it is. For the best parking access, utilize the lot adjacent to the Lakeshore RV Park (TIP: If there's a line at the parking lot pay station, or it's out-of-order, you can pay for parking at the Lakeshore RV Park Front Gate). The parking lot can easily fill up by 11 AM or noon on weekends and spring/summer holidays, so keep this in mind when considering the day of the week you'll be visiting and when you plan to arrive. The park's grounds include a skate park, sand volleyball pits, basketball courts, playground, concession stand, grassy areas, restrooms, some tree-shaded spots, picnic tables, good-sized beach and roped-off swimming area. There's also a boat launch and marina (where it's possible to fish). A go-kart track and miniature golf course are situated in-between the marina (south) parking lot and the RV (north) parking lot, but these are privately run businesses. The only negative of Don Morse Memorial Park is the hourly rate (and maybe the capacity) of the parking lot. Despite this, I still think this park deserves a 5-star review--it's just too good in terms of the layout and amenities it offers.

We were all taking the boat to Stehekin the next day and Donna made sure we had coffee and pastries before we left for the day and also picnic lunches to take on the boat. The rooms were clean and in excellent condition - we even had a couple of outdoor areas where our group could gathered in the evening and socialize. We all had an excellent time while in Chelan and the Riverwalk Park Inn was a big part of it.

Very well customer service. However I will complain about an older lady their today who refused to rent a boat to me and my family do to my weight. She was rude, she wouldn't even look my way when I was asking her prices she told me pretty much I would need to go look at other rentals for a much bigger boat for a group of 11. When we were only 6 She looked at me rolled her eyes and procided to speak with another group. oh" and god, her yaw keep moving sideways. Very time she spoke, she kept scratching her arms .Idk I feel like she might had been on sum type of substance or maybe is old age. Who knows but I will not allow anybody to shame me because of my weight. This was our first jet ski experience for the 4 of us. Our…read morereservation was at 5-6, our first guide (sorry for not remembering your name but you were great!) who helped set us up for a fun time. The hour went by super fast and was definitely worth trying out for 320ish after refueling and for 2 jet skis. It definitely could be a 5 star experience but given the time to return our rentals, this is where it fell short of the experience. We were informed that we'd just pull up and someone would help us which wasn't the case. It was pretty crowded and they redirected us back out in the water which was fine. We noticed another jet skiier pulled in after the boats and other jet skis cleared out so we followed up too. There wasn't much direction into what we should have done after, so we pulled back into the loading bay and waited around for instructions from one of the team members. We weren't really sure who were team members as they were just watching us and not stepping in to help. We waited 5 mins without anyone letting us know next steps so we headed back to the waiver signing window where she mentioned we needed the fuel payment form. Went back to the dock and they told us we had to wait until someone could fill up our rentals, which ended up taking an extra 45 minutes. TLDR: If you're looking to try jet skiing for the first time I highly recommend it, this place definitely sets you up for a great experience but some organization improvements when returning rentals could definitely make it 5 stars.

Eric & Ashley are real pros; polite, professional and all about safety. The trip got underway and we were up fast. Despite the low land smoke from the fires, the view and the air up there is clear and clean as you can tell by my photos. The ride was gentle, breezy and fun and the dip was hilarious! We'll come again!
