We arrived to do paperwork and get fitted for gear about 5:15pm. Our group was about 12 sleds. A few double riders, but the majority was single rider sleds. The paperwork, gear check and other misc tasks took the group about 45 minutes to complete. We were all in our vehicles caravanning up to the trails by 6:00pm. Our guide was awesome! He anticipated what we needed to learn before we got out on the trail. The level of organization was perfect. We felt comfortable and well prepared for our adventure. We got to sing Christmas carols up on the mountain and our guide extended our adventure an extra hour. We did not come down out of the trails until almost 10:00pm. Highly recommend this experience! Catastrophic Repair, Unauthorized Work, and Extortion -- Exposed by NAPA Corporate!…read moreI brought my van to Chad's Quick Auto in Chelan strictly to address an overheating problem, which required diagnosing and installing a new thermostat. Instead, this shop performed completely unauthorized work and hit us with a shocking $1,600 bill for an unrequested oil change and oil filter housing. Because we were out of town and stranded in Chelan, they used our situation to their advantage. We had to pay their extortionate costs just to get our van back so we could drive home and get to work. The van ran significantly worse than when we brought it in to them. We took it to Scotty's Auto Repair in Moses Lake, (highly recommend, their 5 star review is coming soon) where their team discovered that Chad's had put the entirely wrong radiator fluid into our vehicle and a faulty oil filter housing causing it to leak profusely. Genn at Scotty's acted as a fierce advocate for us. When she called Chad's to hold them accountable, they spoke to her in a completely inappropriate manner over the phone. Because Chad's refused to take responsibility, Genn bypassed them entirely and escalated the issue directly to NAPA Corporate under the NAPA Auto Care Peace of Mind Warranty. Because Chad's work was so flagrantly improper and defective, NAPA Corporate approved the claim and covered 100% of the parts and labor required to flush the system and fix Chad's dangerous mistakes. NAPA's own corporate intervention proves Chad's work was faulty. Avoid Chad's Quick Auto Chelan at all costs--they perform unauthorized work, price-gouge stranded travelers, and execute defective repairs.

I don't remember the gentleman's name but he was so cheerful and customer service oriented, it really lifted my spirits. After I explained my situation he recommended a better solution than towing. He quickly confirmed with another individual who had a snow plow truck. I didn't want to deal with it that evening and it was dark by then, so he showed up as promised the next morning to scrape the roadway and then pull my car out of the pile of snow. The price was reasonable and since the whole hour wasn't up yet he continued to plow. Talk about going above and beyond the call of duty. Thanks Trevor! This was one of those times when it was not just about the work being performed but literally rescuing a customer. I really am so grateful.

We had just arrived at Bridgeport State Park when our truck started making a strange noise. We put…read moreour boat in the water and parked the truck at a campsite. That is when we noticed a waterfall under the truck. Looked for a hose leak or a radiator leak, but couldn't see anything. Since it was late afternoon, we decided to deal with it the next day. Looked for auto repair in Brewster, the closest big town 12 miles away, and located Medrano's. What wonderful people! This is a one-man shop and they normally work by appointment only, but when we showed up unannounced, Mr. Jose Medrano came out, took a look, ran a simple diagnostic test and said it was the water pump. He said he would order the pump and, since our truck is also our RV, do the work in one day. We drove back to camp. My husband took the truck over the next morning, arriving at a quarter to 9, Mrs. Medrano drove him back to the park so we could go fishing until the work was done. We called about 1 pm and Mr. Medrano said his wife was on the way to pick us up, the work was done! That is service above and beyond. The charge was well within the going rate for the work and exactly the quote we were given. We really wish we had caught a fish so we could give it to them. Medrano's does good work, the price is right on and they are good people. We would recommend them highly.

Recently, my car was hit, causing some damage to the driver's side wheel and the suspension. Of course when my insurance got involved they really tried to get me to have my vehicle towed to a shop of their choosing in Wenatchee, but I stuck to my guns and insisted that the repairs be done at A&M. During a phone call to the shop on the day my car was hit, the adjuster, myself and the shop (John the owner) were on a three way call discussing the damage. My adjuster was finished getting my info and assumed I had hung up the phone, which was when I got to over hear a conversation in which John really let into the adjuster letting them know that they need to be on top of things and get an adjuster up right away! Chris, the shop manager, kept me updated daily with the progress of my insurance claim (which was taking way too long) and really kept at my insurance company to stay on top of everything. When I picked up the car it looked beautiful (they even vacuumed out my whole car) and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I can not speak more highly of these guys! Remember that you have the right to choose which shop handles your repairs after an accident - don't let the insurance sway you, just so they can cut a deal with the shops.
