We went there on a Saturday night, quite early-ish to be dinner so the place was quite empty but us. 3 Tacos cost 75kr, a tad cheaper than what's in town, and orders were quickly placed along with crisps and homemade guacamole (read: nachos). Overall, the tacos were satisfying but not as good as the one we usually have in town. Perhaps because they served them bare, instead of full of toppings as we usually got when buying in town, so maybe it's due to my lack of talent in "decorating" my tacos, but I found it lack festive flavour that usually exploded in my tongue whenever I ate tacos downtown, be it from food truck or proper place. The beef one was extremely salty and we told the cook about this. I guess it's ok for 3 tacos worth 75 kr, but they really should up their game a little bit.

Our first real street food in Copenhagen, and although we've been eating in restaurants and at the hotel for free, this was by far the tastiest snack. Two ladies manning a food cart, I'm sure #1 son and I could easily tip over. A cooking wagon no more than 5 feet wide and 4 feet deep. They were bunning those dogs fast and furious. Sending many a happy customers into the square with a trail of well fed pigeons in their wake. It didn't matter that it was 38°. Nor did it matter that I whoofed mine down with one glove on. It's an hour later and the roasted garlic is still kicking in my mouth just as the salty savory remnants of that tubular meaty sausage.... #1 son and I Clinked the bun ends of our identically made dogs in honor of Anthony Bourdain, the guy who inspired us to eat local, eat the street food in a city. Danish pølsers are kinda like American hot dogs but slightly meatier. They are not nearly however as meaty & flavorful and sometimes spicy as Austrian wursts which I think are infinitely better. Like most hot dogs pølsers also use a lot of casing. Oh well, I still always nosh on one when I am in Copenhagen and what I like best are all the additions that truly make this a hearty snack. Danish have a white remoulade sauce which is always added to the pølser but I wish they would use more of it. I also like a large dollop of Danish apple ketchup which I could not taste on the one I ordered from Jeanette's. But still this pølser def hit the spot on an afternoon hanging out in Copenhagen!

All would be forgiven for a great burger. Halifax is a small restaurant with 3 booths and about 7 small tables. Their menu offers burgers with virtually every imaginable presentation. While many of the options looked appealing, we wanted to sample a burger/cheeseburger in its simplest form. Ordered medium rare-rare to allow for potential overcooking, our server asked us how rare we want them. This wasn't her first rodeo. As hoped, burgers were perfectly cooked and flavored. Obvious was the hand made patty vs. a frozen, pre made variety. Taste was fantastic, so fantastic I took smaller bites so it would last longer. We split an order of fries which tasted as if they were hand cut but if they weren't, I couldn't tell the difference. Just as good! Only strange thing was paying for ketchup. If I did the money exchange properly, about $4.00. Forgotten and forgiven everything was so good. Another great find!

The big difference is that Langos seems heftier and thicker and therefore can hold a lot more topping. I think the price for a sugar or jam topped one is Kr 25 which is not bad. I had the one with meat sauce and garlicky crème fraîche which was really fantastic. The sauce had a lot of flavour and the dough was hot and freshly fried. For Kr 45, it's a little pricy considering they're not that big. They are good for a snack, but I think would be too small as a meal. It's super easy to order at the stand because every item is listed on the back wall with a huge photo of it so you can see what it looks like. I did have a hard time eating the very messy langos. Quite a bit did end up on me and the ground by the time I finished, which made me sad because it was delicious. + delicious fried food + sweet and savory options - a little expensive for street food - in the middle of Nørreport metro construction and nowhere to sit down (I'm not sure if their cart moves around, but this is where I found it).

My travel buddy and I stopped here on the way to the train station for a snack and a soda. I got the plain salted Langos, with the garlic oil on top. I found it to be simple, delicious, and a perfect companion to a cold coca cola. Easy to eat on the go, and fast to grab from the cart. The woman who runs the cart is also very friendly. Price seemed reasonable, but only in comparison to the exorbitantly expensive dining scene in the City.

Part of the appeal of the cafe is the overall atmosphere. The cafe in a few steps down from the street in a cozy space. Benches with throw pillows line the walls with art and plants that brighten the space. There are a few two chair tables that line the street as well. The owner is a lovely, friendly women from San Fransisco. She makes the cheesecake from scratch. She and her partner were both there during my visit and checked in to make sure all of the customers were enjoying what they ordered. I appreciated the interaction and that they cared whether I liked the cake. The cheesecake is served plain with a side of your choice of fruit sauce. I had the cherry cinnamon and it was incredible. I liked that the sauce was served on the side as it allowed you to choose the amount (though it's so good you will finish it one way or another. Apparently some people have been observed drinking what is left). The rest of the menu is fairly basic: salads, sandwiches and burritos. Considering the prices in Copenhagen, theirs were reasonable for a full sized meal (based on the other reviewer's photos). I only stopped for dessert, based on how good the cheesecake was, I would have liked to try one of the other items. High recommendation!

Not much of a difference since CPH is freezing these days but the cake may be a bit mushed depending on your commute since the plastic box isn't a snug fit. **Tip: there is a credit card fee. Cheesecake quality: at 50kr, it's definitely steep for the smaller size. But the cheesecake still tasted divine even after the 30min commute home. It comes with several sauce options, though the owner recommended the raspberry. The cheesecake was packed full of taste without it though, so not a worry! My favorite part is the bottom crumb base. Most cheesecakes are bland or too hard for the fork to get through, but this was soft enough and flavorful that I had every last crumb. The cheesecake itself had a mouthwatering texture that melted in my mouth. TLDR: Pricey but I'd do it again.

Had the Pulled Pork and wife had the Tuna on a great Danish rye bread. Both were great, as well as the Founders on draft. Apparently the burger and breakfast/brunch foods are very good too, but this place fills up quick, so be sure to get a reservation in advance. It's sort of a famous place to have tacos. The main restaurant is noted in a magazine "The Worlds 50 Best". There is basically no indoor seating at this site. Only outdoor seating in a small area. However lots of people come here for the food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The tacos were outstanding. The Tapheca is a fermented pineapple drink. It was really good as well.
