Her knowledge and skills at hair cutting and styling is amazing. She takes the time to listen to what you want, studies your hair and shape, and then goes to work. When she trimmed my beard she royally messed up the lines, didn't say anything, and didn't try to fix it. On top of that they charged $75!! WTF. Didn't notice the imperfections until after I left. She asks questions to clarify, will look at pictures if you have them, and has the knowledge & experience to be able to make it happen. With each visit you get a complimentary beverage (alcoholic or NA). Hair washes come with a warm face towel treatment if you wish (um, yes, I wish). I decided to call the Beauty College and got the scoop from the very helpful receptionist and decided to book their appointments. I am very glad we did. From the start, I asked and the receptionist helped me schedule both boys at the same time with side-by-side stylists that were good with kids and during a time of day that wasn't too busy (knowing that a louder and busier time would be way too overwhelming for the kids). We had Nicole and Kenzie as our stylists and both did a great job with the cuts. They were patient, kind, and took their time with the cut and made sure things were okay as they went along. They listens to me as I explained what type of cut we were wanting and to look at the sample pictures that I brought. The boys liked them both too, and said that they felt comfortable and would be good with going back to them again. The prices are great there as well. They have a tiered pricing scale depending on the level of the stylist (Level 1 is the least expensive and experienced stylist and it works up to a Level 5). Nicole and Kenzie were Level 2 (they will undoubtedly move up the scale as they work) and charge just $15 for a cut - and it was 10% off for kids. I'll certainly schedule the boys again and would recommend you give them a shot too.
