Chef's Nook is a smaller baking supply store compared to Chocolate Lover, but I would say that their offerings are more high end.
They import chocolate from big names like Cacao Barry and Callebaut and I do like the fact that you don't have the buy the gigantic 5 kg bag of chocolate buttons. They repackage the chocolate in 500g packs, so you can buy different varieties and/or different brands - my personal favorite being 55% Excellence Dark Chocolate, a very well balanced dark chocolate. I also like Cacao Barry's Extra Brute cocoa powder. It is excellent. I actually buy these chocolates in lieu of Nestle Crunch, Kitkat or any of the commercial chocolate. It doesn't have to be for baking. I just pop them open and eat! They also have Tulip and locally made chocolate so you can take your pick.
They also have some Thai spices, vanilla from The Vanilla Company, pastes in a can and nuts from the US. When S&R runs out of stock, this is where I go to buy walnuts from the US. They also have macadamia, almonds and pistachios. They also butter from France. It's expensive but good and is called Beurre d'Isigny.
