The first time I tasted Chef Tony' popcorn, I was hooked. If there is such a thing as gourmet popcorn, this is it! I had my then-boyfriend-now-husband drive all the way to Banawe, QC from Makati just to get me a tub from their then one and only kiosk. I'm so glad they are now in most malls I visit and getting my hands on the biggest tub is as easy as pie.
What makes it so special? First off, they use imported corn which is GMO-free and pops into that perfectly round shape. It is then drizzled with a flavorful coating so that each piece is evenly coated. What you get is a natural snack food which is transfat-free and full of fiber.
I love their unique flavors such as Creamy Parmesan, White Chocolate, Mochachino, Country Cheddar and more. My favorite is the mochachino, it has that slighly bitter coffee taste with a sweet after taste. The whole almonds give it that distinct texture that goes really well with the crisp popcorn. The spoil-proof tub let's it stay crisp longer.
Though more expensive than other popcorn brands out there, I don't feel any guilt about indulging on a tub of happiness. read more
