    Incredibly and shockingly rude employees, has gone downhill over the years…read more My sister and our boyfriend's have been coming to Wind for at least 5yrs, the service used to be amazing. There was a waitress named "keny" and she was always so sweet, well mannered, and made sure you felt welcomed and taken care of every time we went without fail. Now days, there is constantly employees sleeping in the dining area and the new waitress is always rude, throws your food down on the table, never asks how the food is, never asks if you need a refill of water. I've let it slide many times just because it's the only AYCE place in Keswick but not this time. Today was the last time I will EVER walk foot in this restaurant and I use the term "restaurant" loosely. We had just walked in, barely got greeted by the miserable waitress, she then told us we couldn't sit in the corner booth on one side of the room cuz someone was "sitting" there but really it was someone sleeping, so my sister proceeded to walk to the other corner booth and realized another employee was also sleeping there too, so we sat in the middle. The woman employee sleeping in the booth next to us then proceeded to yell at our group and tell us to "sit somewhere else! I'm sleeping here!" We we're so utterly shocked and almost speechless. My boyfriend asked her if she lived at the restaurant because we're paying customers. She left it at that and then proceeded to play loud music on her phone out of spite because she didn't like us talking beside her...even the other rude waitress seemed to be telling her to stop. At one point this lady sleeping nudged my sister with her foot! Please see pictures of the 2 unprofessional employees sleeping in the dining room. Never in my life have I received such horrible service. Will be finding a new sushi place in Newmarket! Boycott this place by all means! Do not give them your money! You can find better sushi and service elsewhere! P.S. I wrote a review in Oct 2016 below uNder the name "Dee K", what a drastic negative difference over the past 2-3yrs.

This little gem is reasonably priced with good food, and service comparable to places in Markham. We've been multiple times at different times of day and the experience has been excellent. The menu is what you'd expect from a Canadian AYCE sushi restaurant. The tempura is fresh and not overbattered, the fish is decent (although it doesn't stick to the rice particularly well on nigiri and rolls), and the fry oil seems to be changed frequently so it doesn't flavor the food. The service is at least as good as AYCE restaurants in Markham. They're good about clearing empty dishes, and if they're a little slow to grab your order slip sometimes, it's not because they're ignoring you. Usually they're at the register or some other task. On our latest visit one of the tables nearby wasn't sure what they were ordering and the staff patiently explained to them. It's been a while since our first visit because a lot of the negative reviews made me nervous. I can confidently say we'll be back again soon.

Appearance 5/5- very well packed and it has a aesthetic presentation that will entice you to consume the food salad looks very fresh,no brown spots on the lettuce . There is a separate container for the dip which I appreciate. Taste 4.5/5- I don't like spicy foods, and I wish they could have an option not to make the calamari spicy, this is personal preference.I know others may appreciate the spicy flavour to it . Pizza tasted amazing as per my son's feedback.I wish they could've added a stuffed crust option to the small personal pizza Delivery by Uber eats - thumbs up! Did a great job on following the request to doorbell twice and leave the food on the door! Wish I could've tried the patio dining but there's a lot of customers .

During my visit, I observed what I felt was inappropriate and unprofessional behavior from a manager toward staff members. In particular, the way younger employees were spoken to and treated was concerning. The tone and approach used seemed unnecessarily harsh and, at times, disrespectful. As a customer, this created an uncomfortable environment and took away from what would have otherwise been an enjoyable dining experience. More importantly, it was difficult to witness young staff members being treated in a way that did not appear supportive or respectful. I believe strongly that all employees--especially those who may be new to the workforce--deserve to be treated with patience, professionalism, and dignity. Positive leadership not only supports staff well-being but also reflects directly on the customer experience. I wanted to bring this to your attention in hopes that it can be addressed appropriately. I continue to value Boston Pizza as a brand and hope that all locations uphold a positive and respectful workplace environment.
