This review is strictly based off of the food. This is a fairly new restaurant. Came here on a Sunday afternoon, which I would suggest calling in your order 20-30 mins ahead of time. Placed 2 orders: * 5 pc fried wing dinner (not full wings) w/ greens and mac n cheese The wings were good. They were nice and hot. had good flavor and was fried nicely. The chicken was moist and which matched nicely with the flavor. Mac n cheese was amazing. My wife is a Mac n cheese connoisseur who also makes her own amazing Mac n cheese and she gave a double thumbs up. It was cheesy, great flavor, moist ... and didn't cone off like a casserole. One of the best Mac n cheese sides she's had from a restaurant. * Meatloaf dinner w/ candy yams, and homemade mash potatoes. The meatloaf was poppin'. Tastes just like grandma's meatloaf. And the mash potatoes was mmm mmm good. The yams was soft and tasty...they wasn't too sweet.. good balance on the sweetness. I would def get these to entrees again. But I'm also eager to try something different on the menu the next time. The eating in space is pretty tight, and it doesn't take much for it to get crowded. Don't expect top flight waiting service...with this being a new spot they're still working quite a few things out. Great place for take out. Will be back.

Smothered Turkey wings, Mac n cheese, collard greens.

The food itself was good when we got it. I ordered another pork chops, collards, and black eyed peas. The flavor was there, a little salty on the pork chop but good. My mom also got the smother Turkey wings that comes with stuffing, and she got collards and mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese didn't taste processed like other places and tasted good. The Turkey wings were moist and the stuffing was also good. The red velvet cake we had for dessert tasted like someone from the church made it. It was moist, had just the right amount of sugar, and the frosting was light. The cake was gone in a second. The only downside about the restaurant was the wait time. If anything order ahead over the phone so you don't have to wait 30-40 minutes in the restaurant. The food is definitely worth 4 stars, but the wait makes it drop to 3. Just call ahead to avoid the wait.

Food is outstanding, I would love it if they updated their schedule so I can know for sure which days and times they are open.

The smothered pork chops and potato salad delicious. The fish is great. Yet they don't the staple to fish coleslaw. They always out of fish.

The banana pudding is amazing a must try. My favorite dish is the chitterlings dinner but they have not had any for awhile.

We decided to have dinner when they had soulfood Sunday. The original waitress we had was cool and friendly, but the 2nd was not friendly, never took a drink order, never told us what was still available. We orginally ordered yams, after 15/20 of waiting we were told there weren't any left and what would we like to replace it with, but luckily they discovered they had enough for at least one serving. The peel & eat shrimp is literally too salty to eat. Following this dinner we had full blown headaches and suspect it was from this salty dish that we could not finish. The catfish was cooked well, and seasoned well, yet also salty along with the collard greens. The mac was good and balanced, the bite with some catfish was perfect. I was happy they did bring out the yams because they were made perfectly, soft, not too sweet and complimented every part of the meal. The smothered porkchops, a bit too smothered for our liking in a salty gravy. Trying to eat the porkchop itself was a challenge not worth much because you may be getting fatty piece. My wife, being the kind person she is, decided to try dessert. She has been looking for real banana pudding, what they had left was red velvet cake. It was pretty good, not much to say on it honestly I was beyond done. That said, we will not be returning. I really wanted a po boy, but its not worth getting a headache over due to high sodium

I ordered the Americana club sandwich (pictured) and switched out the fries for sweet potato ones - I loved it! It was very delicious and filling. Other people in my party ordered the Americana burger amongst other things not pictured. They all said they enjoyed it. My only note about this place was that when we arrived it was basically empty and even with it being empty, the food took a while to come out - much longer than you'd expect for the restaurant being slow. Other than that the overall experience was good and I do recommend going if you want a tasty sandwich/burger.

From the jump, it became one of my "if we dont know where we want to eat, go here" kind of places. Easy, consistent and delicious every single time. We started with the ahi tuna appetizer. I was apprehensive, a tuna app at a pub? Fresh fruit, ginger, tuna was seasoned well, I couldnt be happier. It was trying a well balanced poke bowl right from the start. The wings. Award winning. I am so picky about wings, so to have a place make them properly brings me to my happy place. The wings cooked well, and the buffalo sauce has a kick like its supposed to. Its been a MUST every visit. I dont even know if they have other flavors. We tried the SPECIALE PIZZETTA, and that now gets ordered every time. This place could legit be a pizza place. In an area where good pizza is hard to find, this is a perfect solution. Now Ive tried a few burgers, every burger has been seasoned perfectly and still juicy despite asking for medium well, its only a matter of what you'd like for a topping. The Village Blues burger may be my favorite so far, its the only one ive had twice. The staff is great with us, they always have new beers to try, and its a why not situation! My only ask at all would be steak frites on the menu, I think that would be made so fire in a spot like this. That said, I came to write this review thinking about them because I might just get dinner there today!

My co-workers…read moresuggested coming here for my birthday lunch since my name is Ashley and it was a fantastic experience for all of us. I can confirm they give Ashley's a good rep. Ashley's is so cute inside and out, with a very charming design. There are vibrant real greenery draping from the ceiling. I love the retro Halloween decor scattered throughout. Speaking of spooky... did you know Ashley's is popularly known for being a haunted establishment. The building is actually a historic landmark in Rockledge. Real ghost hunters have came here and captured ghost footage on their special equipment and there have been sightings of haunted figures. The menus even tell their story on the back and there are pictures of the captured ghost on sonar footage on the wall. It's really cool and fun to be somewhere with such a haunting history. Now for the food... I can honestly say that our group of 6 was all very satisfied with their selection. Everything looked so good and the fries were certainly the highlight of everyone's meals. Crispy and fresh! The portions of the sandwiches were very generous. For my entree I got the summer salad and it was delicious. I loved the candied walnuts and fresh strawberries. The portion was big and the chicken was grilled perfectly. The prices are moderate but well worth it for the portions and quality of food. They also have a senior menu with fantastic prices like a burger under $10. I loved Ashley's during this spooky season but it seems like we will be returning for other occasions because the food is great. Also worth it to mention that our server was amazing and the service was great.

They also had some nice happy-hour specials, and I could see this being a cool spot to grab a drink, hang out, and socialize. Unfortunately, the food just didn't do it for me. For the prices, I expected considerably more in terms of quality and flavor. Everything looked good, but the food itself was very lackluster and, honestly, just didn't have much flavor. I hate leaving negative reviews because I could tell they were trying, but at the end of the day, the food is the most important part for me. Unfortunately, I can't see myself going back and spending money there based on the quality of the food. Nice atmosphere and good presentation, but the food needs to improve quite a bit.
