Guiltiest of all guilty pleasures, if you count yourself among the weight-conscious). Pugon Roasters gives you all the bad things that taste oh-so-good - sisig, chicharon, isaw, liempo, beer - at an affordable price.
My favorite is their Spicy Sizzling Chicken Sisig and their signature Pugon Roasted Chicken. Pugon Roasters would be good even with just these two items on the menu, but they don't stop there. They're the only place I know that serves Kaldereta Mac - Pinoy Kaldereta cooked in mac and cheese style - and beer milkshakes. Yes, you heard right, beer milkshakes. If that doesn't draw your attention to Pugon Roasters, I don't know what will!
It's such a popular place to eat that I've never seen the Ayala Triangle branch empty, and I wish the best of luck to anyone trying to find a seat during lunchtime. All the office workers in the Stock Exchange buildings come to eat here, which isn't surprising seeing as it's the cheapest in Ayala Triangle's selection of restaurants. read more
