My spouse, a few close friends, and I spent about two hours learning the basics of sushi preparation under Chef Don's expert guidance--and we loved every minute of it! Chef Don struck the perfect balance of professionalism and laid-back charm. He created a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere that made everyone feel comfortable, regardless of their skill level. His instructions were clear, easy to follow, and he made sure everyone was engaged and having fun. We learned to make several classic rolls ourselves, and it was so satisfying to enjoy something delicious that we had just created. One of our favorite parts of the night was getting to torch our own sushi rolls--yes, with actual fire! It added such a fun, interactive twist to the experience and made us feel like real sushi chefs for a moment. Chef Don is clearly well-respected throughout Southern Riverside and San Diego County, and it's easy to see why. His passion for sushi and teaching really shines through, and his reputation as a top-tier chef and instructor is well deserved. If you're looking for a fun, unique night out with friends or family--especially if you're a sushi lover--this experience is a must. Highly recommend Chef Don's class to anyone looking to roll up their sleeves and try something new!

Pete's firehouse bbq really came through for my husband and I's special day. We had issues with a few of our vendors for the day, but one I didn't have to worry or stress over once was Pete and his bbq! The food was warm, incredibly delicious, and exactly what we asked for. Our guests all enjoyed it immensely, we heard nothing but rave reviews; and they still comment how the food at our wedding was the best ever. Pete went out of his way to help us throughout the process, from tastings to the main event; a truly kind and professional individual. He was always responsive to my emails and questions. My husband and I's favorite part, was by far the late night bites of pork belly sliders and mash potato bar. The appetizer meatballs also a game changer! Wish I could have a plate of everything as I write this. Since we had a fridge at the venue, we were able to keep our leftovers, which they packaged up for us. Though we didn't receive the toppings from the potato bar, only tiny hiccup, we did receive tons of leftovers that was such a bonus! Not to mention, that they heated well and were tasty even days later!! My husband, guest, and I all highly recommend Pete's Firehouse BBQ for your wedding or event!! You'll definitely, thank me later.

From the time I reached out to him up until the event (my wife's 60th birthday), it's been top-notch. Pricing, menu selection, # of guests, setup, food prep, doling out the appetizers and entrees, and finally storing the leftovers so that I could take home, great company to work with. I'll utilize their services for my next event.

The experience was…read moreintimate, warm, and beautifully executed from start to finish...every dish told a story and every detail felt intentional. We began with the Aji tuna on crispy rice, topped with a delicate sliver of jalapeño and crispy shallots, a perfect balance of freshness, spice, and crunch. The second course was Stefanie's famous focaccia...one sweet and one savory. The savory version featured parmesan, her homemade bread and butter, pickles from her garden, and a touch of mustard seed. The bread, made simply with flour, water, and salt, takes two to three days to create. The sweet focaccia was equally impressive, topped with brie, honey, and a guava jam made from her own garden-grown guavas... truly special. Next came the sweet potato course, made from her garden's harvest and paired with roasted pine nuts and coconut-shaved gnocchi in brown butter. The flavors were rich yet comforting, and the presentation was artistic and thoughtful. The main course... short ribs with a stunning potato gratin, was a showstopper. The short ribs were tender and deeply flavorful, garnished with delicate edible flowers from her garden, while the gratin was layered beautifully and topped with a fragrant chimichurri. Dessert was one of the best I've ever had: a sticky toffee date cake with a caramel apple sauce made from apples in her garden, served with raw cream vanilla bean ice cream. The balance of warmth, sweetness, and texture was perfection. The wine pairings, thoughtfully curated by Oscar from Sequoia Grove Winery, elevated the entire experience, from the velvety Merlot to the bold Cabernet, every sip complemented the food flawlessly. What makes Chef Stefanie so special is her warmth and authenticity. She shares her passion for food and where it comes from in a way that's engaging and educational, never pretentious. She spends time presenting each dish beautifully, with an artist's eye and a chef's heart. Her artistry, attention to detail, and genuine love for her craft come through in every course. I'll absolutely be attending her future chef's table events, a beautiful evening of intentional cooking, soulful flavors, and gracious hospitality.

Everything was supposed to have been cut and prepared in advance at what Anthony said was his commercial grade kitchen in Redlands. Nothing was prepared at all. He had to use my kitchen for everything. Food service started over an hour and a half late. Poor quality ingredients, quiche pie crust being low grade store bought, which reflects everything else that was finally served. He ran out of food almost immediately. He was very unprofessional laughing and talking with others loudly in my kitchen while he was running so late with putting the food out. It was an awful experience for me and I would never use him again or recommend him under any circumstances. I could have done better myself and saved $8,000! And all this followed by ghosting me to even apologize. DO NOT USE THIS CATERER.

To start, he created the most amazing charcuterie board with bacon-wrapped dates, fresh fruit, and a wonderful selection of meats and cheeses. We also enjoyed a delicious caprese salad with buttered toasted baguettes, followed by flavorful chicken masala served with rice, roasted veggies, and naan bread. For dessert, he made my favorite: yellow cake with chocolate frosting, made even more spectacular with fresh whipped cream and berries. Beyond the food, Daniel is so personable and fun--he created a warm, relaxed, and entertaining atmosphere throughout the evening. He even cleaned the kitchen afterwards, which was such a thoughtful gesture. We had made it clear how important it was that we had to do minimal setup and clean up (because we didn't want the birthday girl to be working on her birthday), and Chef Daniel and his talented crew made it so easy. He brought exactly what he needed, and they left the place spotless. And the food! Every guest raved about each course. Guests who didn't like fish raved about the seafood. Others who usually don't like bacon-wrapped dates said they finally found a version they loved.
