So let's talk food. The hummus was exactly as advertised, nothing more, nothing less. The pita on the other hand was unexpected. Undoubtedly fresh, I was served cross between pita bread and a pita chip. I asked for my wrap spicy without tomatoes. While it did arrive with tomatoes, it was undeniably delicious. My eyes were 100% bigger than my stomach, so after a few bites I was satisfied. They don't skimp on the chicken. While the fries weren't my cup of tea, I'd certainly return for the pita. I ordered a Mexican shrimp bowl with brown rice, lettuce, black beans, and pico de gallo. Unfortunately, the entire bowl was extremely salty, and the brown rice was very hard, which told me it was not fully cooked. I was very disappointed because I ordered it to go and was already on the road, hungry and expecting to eat while driving. Because of that, I was not able to return the food, request a refund, or have them correct the issue. It ended up being a waste of both money and time, especially considering there were plenty of other places nearby that I could have chosen instead. I do not recommend this location. The Cypress location has always been consistently good, so this was especially disappointing. I will not be stopping at the Katy location again because serving food like this to paying customers is unacceptable.
