This trip was just ok - that's why the the 3 stars . Pool was closed because choline was too strong - then it opened up and my blue shorts changed color to purple and my son got a rash- other than that the pool is nice size and not too cold 3rd floor near 302 and 303 has like 6 people staying in one room and garbage left in hallway between the strong smell of what smelled like weed and fried chicken - our hallway stank!!! Smell came through the doors to our room - really not a fan of weed smell and I love fried chicken but wow how can it smell that strong - lol Cleaning peoples cart was on the floor but they - haven't cleaned room or even told us they don't clean rooms while guests here - I guess COVId really changed things - you would think that they would want it better cleaned then less cleaned. A little Disappointed this stay, But we will try again next year because the staff we have met ( typically day shift) has been extremely nice. We just wish we were told about house keeping.

Great spot for a business traveler or someone (like me) who is visiting family. Very friendly staff. The hotel also has a small indoor pool, fire pit, two huge grills, and a well equipped gym. Location is right next to a a nice paved walking trail and downtown West Bend. Plenty of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. Only downside was the breakfast was pretty weak and had few options. Other than that, great choice for this area. Highly recommended.

The other had a technical glitch and could not help us and the other was well over $200 for a night, It was after 3am so we were only going to be there for 7 hours, so not looking to spend a lot for such a short stop, we had already been on the road for a while, the nice women at the front desk, allowed us to extend the check out till noon so we could get an extra hour of sleep. We appreciated that, room was pretty basic, two beds were comfy, and a small fridge and flat screen tv. The only thing I did not like was that it was kind of dirty, the sink still had toothpaste in the front of it, and the tub floor was stained, and the lamp had greasy fingerprints on it. Otherwise it was a good deal, I think if they really got some descent house keeping in this place it would be a much better hotel, The bar area was nice, even thou it was closed when we got there, the continental breakfast left a bit to be desired. But they have some nice vending machines in the lobby. Staff was very friendly, a women in the evening and a nice young man in the morning, very professional and kind. I would stay again.

The tours are offered every weekday morning at 8:30am and reservations are required. Check-in at the Design Center, where the tour originates. Guests must be at least 14 years of age and must wear enclosed footwear. You are provided safety glasses and a narration headset and no cameras are allowed. Our tour guide was Elmer, who was a retired 40+ year employee of Kohler. He guided us through the three factory buildings which housed the vitreous china products manufacturing, as well as the cast iron and plumbing products. You could sense the pride that Elmer had in Kohler in his narration during the tour. We also went to the Kohler Arts/Industry Program center were we met the rotating artists that come into Kohler to create art pieces. The three hour tour ends back at the Design Center where you can browse through the displays of all the Kohler products and visit the Kohler Museum located in the lower level. A great tour to observe manufacturing in action. Best of all, the tour is free of admission.

That is always a good experience. This weekend, we stayed there for a night to visit family in the area. We called on the way up from the car. When we got there, the person who answered my call was at the front desk and had our information ready to go. It was easily the quickest check-in I've experienced. (She was super nice, too.) The room was very clean, the pool area was clean and stocked with towels, and the free breakfast in the morning was good. This is how every hotel should be run.
