Wasn't aware of how good this burger was going to be - crazy good!!!

My buddy told me about Cheeseburger Randy's and how fantastic the burger was. The restaurant is located in Foley near the Candy Store. Great little location, and boy, they grill some damn good Smashburgers. They also have fries and Rings as well as, a good selection of adult beverages. I ordered the Cheeseburger and a Coors Banquet, and it was AMAZING!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Super fast waiting time for food, staff above and beyond friendly and great outdoor vibe. The hamburger I had high hopes for but really lacked flavor and the cheese was so sticky it made it hard to chew and swallow like like eating velveeta unmelted if that makes sense. Fries were amazing though. I'd definitely be back just because of how friendly the staff is and the great vibe.

The menu - you gotta love keeping it simple!!

All 7 of us loved our food! Some of ordered the cheeseburger, and some The Randy. Both are really solid, very good smash burgers. The staff is super friendly and the food comes out quick. The restaurant is open from 11-1 and then 4-8. It is an open restaurant concept, so be prepared for getting to know some people you may not have known. They have a very cool atmosphere, with great music playing. There is a reason this place has become so popular. I would say that if Cheeseburger Randy is reading this, there was a lot of whiz on the loaded fries. (T.G.I. Fries). It was really covered in cheese whiz and that is pretty much all you could taste. (There is also conecuh sausage, jalapeños and their burger sauce on the fries. All we could taste was the Whiz.)

I had to go in and get the TGI fries! They come with jalapeños, cheese, the burger sauce, and conecuh sausage! They sent me with 2 forks like I was sharing with someone . All mine! Service is awesome like always and you can't beat the patio ambiance. Also dog friendly on the outside patio.

Burgers were delicious. Fries and rings were on point. Service was exceptional! I will definitely be back.

I had The Randy, which is a cheeseburger with lettuce, pickles, burger sauce and conecuh sausage.

My family and I were staying in orange beach and were looking for an Italian place when we came…read moreacross Portabellas. Let me tell you, it's worth the 25 minute drive from orange beach. I got the 5 cheese pizza and it was one of the top pizzas I've ever had. The sauce was amazing, the FIVE cheeses tasted great, and the dough was crispy and delicious. There's only 12 tables inside, but we did not have to wait to get seated. The service was great and the owner personally brought a kids menu and a bucket of crayons to my son so he could color. We will come back next time we vacation in orange beach!

This is a VERY popular spot in Foley, AL and it alway seems jam packed. This is a smaller space but…read moreit does have nice vibe to it. They are only open for dinner which starts at 3pm and then depending on the day they close at 8pm or 9pm. When I arrived right at 3pm they already were jam packed but I fortunately was able to grab a table two days in a row after failing to get a table multiple times when I showed up around 5pm and 6pm. The owners are originally from New Orleans so that immediately let me know I was going to be in for some good food. I sampled soup, pasta, pizza, a sandwich and their dessert. I was happy with all of the food and only have a minor issue with the pizza as it is more of a thick crust and I prefer thinner crust pizza. The service was attentive and took good care of me. They also offer specials which they will post on Facebook sometimes. Overall I like this place but having to arrive so early to get a table throws my dining schedule off.

I finally went here last week for the first time with a few friends. I have been hearing a lot of…read morebuzz about the place for a while, and we were all pretty satisfied. We had a really good time, and really enjoyed most everything. This spot is located inside of the already popular Southern Shores Eats and Drinks, right there on 59, just north of County Road 98. And the place is called Scallywags. Looking at the main menu they have a huge selection of drinks, including a 32-ounce Rum Bucket, Bushwackers, and local draft beers like Fairhope Blue Steel. Scallywags is pretty much billed as a pizza joint, but with their drinks they could easily be called a bar with bar food. But the menu does have kinda bar food but much more. They just started a newer feature, a "Quick Plunder Lunch," and we went for that. It's available Tuesday through Friday from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM and gets you a sandwich or a personal pizza with a drink for 11 bucks. We ended up ordering a mix of things to share around the table. We started with their hand-tossed pepperoni tavern pizza that came out hot with the cheese and toppings loaded all the way to the edge, very nice. For the sandwiches, we tried the Galley Cuban, which was pressed nice and crispy and served with a big side of house-made potato chips. We also ordered the hand-breaded chicken tenders and fries that were quite good, the calamari, and the Black Flag Reuben, which had a nice corned beef and sauerkraut on marbled rye with a little pirate flag toothpick. Everything was made to order and tasted fresh, the portions were huge, and our server was super attentive the entire time. It is a great addition to downtown Foley, and I will definitely be back to try their Chicago stuffed deep dish next time. Scallywags is closed on Sundays and Mondays, open Tuesdays thru Thursdays from 9 AM to 8 PM, and they stay open later until 10 on Fridays and Saturdays. The reviews are mostly positive, with a strong 4.5 average, with lots of buzz about the 60 cent wings on Thursday nights, and my favorite new revelation, that they fry everything in 100% beef tallow. Bottom line: Good food, cool chill vibe and good people and don't be intimidated by the limited, sometimes difficult on-street parking, there's plenty out back. Recommended!!

Saw an ad that mentioned Chicago Style deep dish pizza, and being from Chicago we had to try since…read morewe haven't had a real Chicago pizza in ages.Drove out from Mobile to try. The decor was cute-beachy with a mermaid skeleton over a door which brought a smile. Staff was nice and helpful, refilled our drinks several times. Placed our order preparing to wait cause we know these take a long while to cook. Had some calamari while we waited. The breading was good, but the calimari was a bit rubbery. Our pizza took the usual 40-45 mins and looked and smelled yummy. The bottom crust was crispy which was a good sign. I did wish they'd given us a sharp knife to cut with but it was fine. It was a really good deep dish pizza overall and the cheese was nice and stringy. However, it wasn't a Chicago deep dish-the crust doesn't have the cornmeal-y taste and the sausage didn't have that bite. Sauce was a little too sweet to be Chicago pizza, but I looked at the menu again and it said "Chicago inspired". So in the case of being put together into that almost casserole-y concoction it is..But if you are from Chicago and looking for a true Chicago deep dish like you'd get at Uno's, Rosati's, Aurelios this wasn't it. Very good for what it was though.
