This review is long overdue, Bryan and his company absolutely made our wedding, during the busy wedding season of October, an absolute smash hit! The music for our wedding was so important to us. We listen to lots of different music, R&B, rap, old school, line dancing, hard-core, rock, folk..... you name it. We wanted to hear everything. Bryan was able to help us curate the music throughout our entire wedding so every section had a special moment and feel through the music. Because we have such a blend of music, it was really important to me to find a DJ who was able to play all the songs seamlessly and not have it feel like it was a random playlist on shuffle. Bryan executed this perfectly. Everybody danced all night long throughout all the different songs that we played. The dance floor seriously never stopped. The reception was pretty long and Bryan kept the energy going all night long. Even while Bryan was MCing event, he pronounced everybody's name correctly, followed the order in which was discussed between us and our wedding coordinator, we knew exactly what was going to happen and when and it felt so seamless. There was no bumps or hiccups throughout the ceremony or the reception. Everybody was mic'ed correctly and we could hear them clearly. I cannot emphasize enough, that Bryan and cheers Entertainment made our wedding an absolute night to remember. It's been almost 6 months and people still can't stop talking about it! If I need a DJ for any other event whether that be a birthday party or hell even a funeral, I'm calling cheers Entertainment!! read more

We had 70 guests and, like most weddings, we had a very diverse age range so it was important for us that the music be diverse too so that everyone would want to be on the dance floor! Brian was so easy and fun to work with during the planning process. He double checked he had the right version for special songs. He asked questions to understand what we like/don't like, our stance on requests, etc. He even checked in with us after the wedding! My husband and his family are huge Bruce Springsteen fans, so he sprinkled a few of his songs in throughout the night without overdoing it (although I'm not sure that's possible). For our last song of the night, we asked for a very specific version of a song and even asked him to do a silly announcement, which he did and it made for such a fun and memorable ending to the night. He played all the songs we wanted, making them flow perfectly, while working in similar songs that we didn't have on our list, but loved! He read the room perfectly and everyone stayed on the dance floor all night! He went above and beyond and it was everything we could have hoped for! read more

Brian did an amazing job as the DJ/MC for our wedding. He was intentional with getting to know us and our vision for the day, and helpful throughout the planning process. From the ceremony to the last song of the night, he kept the wedding day's timeline running smoothly and created the perfect atmosphere for our event. He was professional, fun, easy to work with, and did a great job reading the crowd and playing the perfect mix of music. We received so many compliments about the entertainment, and we're so grateful for the role Brian played in making our wedding day unforgettable. read more

Brian is incredible. Truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the start, he made everything so easy. Uploading music through his site was super simple, and he was always available whenever we had questions. His sound system was amazing, everyone could hear the ceremony perfectly. Once the reception started, the dance floor was packed all night. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and that energy totally shows in his work. read more

After the very first call, I knew Brian understood the vibe we were going for and the different guest personalities we anticipated. He truly kept the vibes rocking all night during our wedding! However, he did more than play a selection of music of we picked. He had a really good read on our guests and the dance floor, and he brought a lot of creativity and thoughtfulness. He even made a custom father/daughter song cut for me! I also 10/10 recommend the Photo Booth + digital copies add on. Our guests LOVED the Photo Booth. In particular, we heard they loved the props; the fact the booth came with an attendant; and how the attendant just printed the copies for everyone in the photo, not just the standard one or two. read more

Brian really went above and beyond for our wedding. He kept the groves going and really felt out what people wanted to keep the dance floor alive 10/10 DJ and I couldn't recommend him more! read more

Cheers Entertainment - DJ Josef! - DJs Near Me

Brian deserves all the praises - there was not one moment at our wedding where the dance floor wasn't filled. He was SUCH a talented DJ. We (like most people) had a big age range at our wedding but everyone was having the best time. The online program he used to help compile our song requests was so easy to use and he was so engaging the entire time with our guests. We are so happy we trusted you as our DJ, all our family and friends raved about you. Thank you Brian! read more

We absolutely loved DJ Brian! He was kind, skilled, charismatic, and flexible. Leading up to our wedding day, Brian was attentive and took the time to meet with us and delve into our vision for the event. Brian made the planning process a breeze and emphasized the importance of crafting something that was uniquely tailored to our vision and what we wanted from a DJ/emcee. Brian captured exactly what we were looking for. He made sure to play our requested music and made sure to avoid any of our "do not play" songs. But he also made sure to add in his own artistic flair with music that fit in perfectly with our vision and that still catered to the audience and the energy level of the moment. Due to unforseen circumstances during the wedding, we had to alter the timeline of events that we had discussed with Brian during our planning meetings. Brian was highly adaptive and pivoted from our original plan without issue. We are extremely grateful for his adaptability, flexibility, and professionalism. We know we picked the perfect DJ for our special day! The value you get from the team at Cheers cannot be beat! You truly cannot go wrong if you choose to go with Cheers. read more

We love DJ Brian!! We didn't hire a wedding planner and Brian really helped us stay on schedule throughout the night. He was always so personable with our guests and very easy to communicate with. The online wedding planner made it easy to build the vibe for the music at our wedding. Brian was personable with our guests, took all of requests into account and made it the most fun night EVER! read more

We are so grateful we had Brian as part of our wedding day! From the very beginning, he was incredibly kind, personable, and easy to work with. He went above and beyond helping us edit and blend our first dance song, which turned out beautifully. On the day of the wedding, he did an amazing job reading the room and keeping the energy high. Our guests were dancing all night long! Also, the company has additional items such as uplighting and a photo booth, both of which we used and helped make for a beautiful and fun night to remember. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ experience and highly recommend him to any couple looking for someone who truly cares and delivers. read more

We heard about Cheers Entertainment from another parent whose kid had them at a school party. Our 5th grade grad party needed an AMAZING DJ who could entertain a wide variety of personality types and also keep the kids engaged throughout the event.... Sure enough, they delivered and then some! I don't know what I expected, but it definitely wasn't what we got. We got SO much more, and the kids still say it was the most "epic" party ever! When they say you can have the time of your life at a party.... well, I think we did just that thanks to Brian (aka DJ Phoenix) and the crew with Cheers Entertainment. We ended up with Photo Booths in addition to our awesome DJ lineup, and it was so great. They even brought the little frame holders for the pictures! I mean, how great is that? Overall, the kids did not stop playing, dancing and enjoying themselves. Even the shy little ones were participating. Brian knows his stuff and was amazing at managing all the kids. If you're looking for entertainment for a teen/tween/kids event, this should be your ONLY phone call! read more

We had Brian had Brian as my DJ at my birthday party... And he was just fantastic. He literally saved my event from certain destruction. I've been a professional DJ for... Let's just say a very long time. So when it came time for my birthday, there were probably a good fifteen of the best DJs in California in attendance...and we all have giant opinions on music. It turned into a giant "mess"... Until Brian stepped up, took over and absolutely made my event so enjoyable and memorable. Can't thank him enough! Book Cheers for any and every event... you will be thrilled with their performance. read more

Brian was our DJ and MC for our wedding day, and we could not have chosen a better one then him and Cheers Entertainment. This was the first time we ever worked with Cheers Entertainment and it certainly won't be the last! Brian was incredible! We were just watching the videos of all of the games we played and it brought a big smile to our faces! He really listened to us when we told him what we wanted for our holiday party and came through 100% Thank you Brian :) read more

Wow!! We just hired the best DJ imaginable! Here's why Brian and his team were so amazing: 1. *They listened and catered to our vision*. Prior to the event (a party for our 12-year-old daughter), Brian talked with us at length on 2 or 3 separate occasions to understand exactly what our vision is and what we are all comfortable with. He was very attentive with our daughter, was incredibly easy to talk to, and throughout the whole process we felt really heard and understood. We had a candle-lighting ceremony, and they created a special playlist on the website for us to add songs. He wanted us to have the party *we* wanted. At our event, we got exactly what we had envisioned and more!! 2. *They are wonderful with kids*. Brian's personality was pitch perfect. He was gentle with the little kids and fun with the big kids. DJ Al was also fabulous. During the hour before the event, as our 9-year-old son was hanging out by himself while we sorted out last-minute details with our event coordinator, Al took the initiative to entertain our son for a long while by playing dome hockey with him and teaching him fun tricks. 3. *The speakers sounded amazing and looked great*. The speakers were sleek and futuristic looking, and they focused the music on the dance floor without sounding loud or hurting people's ears. (Before the party we had asked for lower volume and he totally accommodated!) He made it so that you could actually hear great music at a nice volume on the dance floor and comfortably carry on a conversation without yelling or shouting, even if you were standing right next to the dance floor. 4. *The DJ'ing and entertainment were top notch*. They ordered our playlist perfectly, and the timing of the music mixed with games was smooth. Brian was a fabulous MC, very fun for the kids and very conscientious of the safety of the little kids. The crowd really took to him, and our guests were asking for his contact info for their parties. Our event was a huge success and our guests raved about Brian and his team. We could not recommend them more! We will definitely be using them for future events!! Thank you, Brian, Al, and Team!! read more

Brian has been our DJ for our school's middle school dance for the past 7-8 years. He has brought a lot of joy to this event, selecting a lot of the students' favorite songs (and some for the chaperones too!). He's kind and professional. Brian got our first drink and OH NO I misspelled his name on all the other reviews. But that's just to say that we loved his DJing so much that we would recommend it to all of our friends, their mothers, brothers, sisters, and fathers! He had such great charisma. Went above and beyond - even got us our first drink! Would have again for any occasion/event. Wedding: 4/28/24. read more

What a pro. This gentleman was a pleasure to communicate with leading up to our party, and he was a lot of fun during our celebration! The party planning things I did not feel knowledgeable about, he put me at ease and provided nice guidance. This guy is great at getting guests involved, and excellent at reading the room, knowing what the people want. We'll absolutely hire Brian again, and will suggest him when I hear of others in need. Also fair pricing. You're getting the best when you hire Cheers Ent. Thanks very much! read more

The best wedding DJ ever!!! Our dance floor was never empty and Brian played literally every song we requested. Plus, he danced with us and led the guests through the Cupid shuffle, individually released the tables for our buffet dinner, and made time at the end of our wedding for a private dance to our first dance song before the grand exit. Brian spent hours with us planning and talking about all of the different options and timelines and music. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ! read more

This is the second big event that I have used Brian for. He is literally like family and I would not host an event without him. He is funny, kind, reasonable, easy going on comes through on event day. He had the youngest to the oldest dancing and participating. He knows how to ramp people up, slow things down and make things special. All of the other trades like catering, photography, churro cart all spoke to him and coordinated with him at some point. I would refer him 100% to anyone and everyone. read more

Brian was fun to work with, respectful, and the Cheers Entertainment website was fun and easy to use. It had a ton of songs, and it made it very clear which songs would be used for which activity (cake cutting, first dance, etc.). My husband and I had a great time in the leadup to the wedding picking songs for the wedding using the Cheers site, and Brian helpfully provided suggestions and help for two people who were unfamiliar with all the ins and outs of wedding planning! The day of, he did a tremendous job making sure that all the events ran from one to another smoothly, and provided all the equipment necessary for the toasters. We highly recommend Cheers Entertainment! read more

From the moment we began working with him, he was extremely helpful and friendly, and he always responded promptly whenever we reached out with questions. During our reception, he did a great job choosing music that appealed to a wide range of ages and musical tastes. Additionally, he checked on us occasionally throughout the evening to see if we needed anything or had any special requests. While we were sad that we could not be together in person this year for our annual corporate holiday event due to Covid-19 restrictions, Brian and his team came to the rescue and put together a FANTASTIC 'virtual' holiday event! Not only was the event super fun and engaging for everyone, but having a virtual event enabled us to have ALL of our employees attend (many work remotely in other states)! We all had such a great time and Brian's team did an excellent job! We were able to mingle and chat, play FUN trivia and musical games, and even had an ugly sweater contest. :-) Thank you Brian! We look forward to our next virtual event very soon! read more

I can't talk more highly about a company than I can with this one. We had Cheers Entertainment come out for our wedding. Working with Brian throughout the course of planning a wedding was a breeze. Brian provided us with several options that could meet our needs and advised us when we were unsure, even avoiding upselling in the process. We thought we couldn't enjoy working with Brian any more than we already did until our wedding day came. Brian showed up and went above and beyond what he signed up for. He made sure we always had a drink in our hands and made sure we got enough to eat in the middle of the chaos. As a DIY bride, their professionalism and tools for success helped me plan my songs/entertainment/timeline and alllllll that stuff that you don't even think about. Brian Pierce was excellent. The music was on point, and he did an amazing job finding a perfect ensemble of songs that I loved. He was funny and professional without being cheesy, witting and entertaining without being over the top. 5 Stars all the way for Brian. He was also very accommodating, as some of our requests were somewhat unconventional. And was more than willing to answer all my questions about adding or removing services (lighting, photo booth, etc), and got me quotes and info promptly.
