Sam is absolutely amazing. He made our school gala everything we wanted it to be and more!! He and his team are easy to work with, have great communication, are prompt and creative. They can offer a wide variety of services. For us, Sam was our DJ, he did black light/neon lighting and two different types of photo booths. I have never met a DJ so involved, caring and willing to make sure that they are the last people to worry about at your event. Samuel MC'd and DJ'd my aunts wedding a couple of years back and truly I was amazed at how he kept everyone on the dance floor and the party going all by himself! His communication and service gave a comforting feeling and promise that he will take care of you, and he sure did. We had constant texts, calls just for him to get our vibe of the music and setting that we were going for and after a shared album, he knew exactly in that moment. Upon booking, the months/weeks/days went by, and our calls became more real and he made us excited just by sharing our taste of music with the people closest to us. We looked forward to speaking with him because of our joy in music and he had amazing advice in life to offer to us newly weds also. My wedding entrance still gives me chills til this day because of the music that HE CHOSE. He ran it by us of course but seeing it in person, in that moment was something that I wish I could relive! He truly went above and beyond and after a phone call with him, you will know in that moment that you made the right choice! Thank you to Fortun Entertainment for being the life of the party at my wedding, we couldn't have partied any harder without you guys! read more

From the program planning to the digital customized designs and prints, DJ, MC, and not to mention the reasonable price, Lovehut Photobooth and Fortun Entertainment did not disappoint! Sammy and his colleagues went above and beyond to making sure that the designs matched my daughter's 18th Birthday theme. We opted to have both the 360 and the regular Photobooth and this was more than enough to make memories to last a lifetime and provide a unique experience for not only us but for our guests as well. Not to mention a fun way to entertain our guests! They were on time and set-up and dismantle was swift and clean. I highly recommend LoveHut Photobooth along with Fortun Entertainment for ALL your entertainment and party planning needs! I will definitely hire them again for future events! Sammy and his team were so amazing to work with! They're on top of their game, they're responsible, on time, professional and a lot of fun! Sammy was part of planning the music with us, even if we reached out to them so late prior to our event. He had 2 back to back events that day but ours didn't suffer as he had a great team setting up behind him. He gave us great suggestions, and a lot of options to bundle the services. We got DJ, lights and video projector. He's an amazing DJ and knows how to read the crowd and get them on their feet! He even danced with us. Haha. We couldn't be happier with Fortun and will recommend this highly for your next event. They have everything to make your event the best event of the year! read more

Honestly can't even articulate how amazing Sam was for our wedding!! Having a basic DJ playing whatever was NOT part of our vision and wanted to work with someone who shared our love of music. We collaborated closely with him to have playlists for our ceremony, our dinner and reception. In addition, we created a mixtape on a USB that reflected the most special songs from our event with song requests our guests sent in. Not only was our event magical but our guests LOVED our favors and have been messaging us since about how happy the music makes them. Sam also provided lighting which was perfect. Can't recommend Fortun Entertainment enough. Hire him! You won't regret it. read more

DJ Sammy and MC Eugene were amazing. We hired them to DJ and MC our wedding in February 2019 and can't say how truly talented they are. They kept the dance floor live until the very end when the venue had to close. I believe out of all the weddings we have been to, our wedding was the best. The older generation and younger generation were having fun on the dance floor and it never stopped. Thanks to DJ Sammy and Eugene for keeping it hyped. On the months leading to our wedding, Sammy kept his line of communication open and always offered to hep with anything we needed. He was both professional and a really good friend of ours. He also asked us to send him a spotify playlist of songs that we want played in which we probably went overboard with a list of songs, but he played majority of the songs. Overall, our guests had an amazing time and we literally danced the night away. Will highly recommend Fortun Entertainment. Thank you guys again for an amazing and memorable experience. read more

Sam was such a great person to work with! Extremely helpful & friendly. I hired him to run a Photo Booth & to set up DJ equipment for ceremony, cocktail hour, & reception. It was an easy process, great communication, always asking if we needed any help, he even stayed the whole wedding when he could've left and had an assistant handle everything. His reason for staying the whole night was to make sure everything went well & so he can take care of us with anything we needed. Hes a great person, always making youre ok, a great DJ, equipment & Photo Booth technician, as well as lighting! I almost forgot about the uplights & dj lights he set up for us. Friendliest and reliable people you can ever book with! Thank you Sam & Fortun Entertainment! read more

Seasoned professionals who can handle any event. They knew exactly what to play, when to play it, and for who to play it for. We had Luis for a recent 2022 Christmas Party and he was super-reliable, experienced, and pleasant to work with. Also, Sammy was super helpful with pre-event coordination, gave us a fair price, and ensured the event took place with no issues. Don't second-guess yourself. Hire these guys and they know how to get the job done better than anyone else. read more

This review is so long overdue - but if you are still looking for your DJ you can stop here. Our wedding was truly amazing and we give a huge amount of credit to Fortun Entertainment for that, especially our DJ, Sammy & MC, Eugene. Sammy & Eugene were absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish. They really helped us figure out what would work best any time we were indecisive. They both took a ton of time to get to know us and made sure our wedding truly reflected our personal style. And everyone had such a great time, which was really the most important thing to us. Family and friends are still telling us how much fun they had at our wedding! Fortun Entertainment was honestly one of the best decisions we made, so seriously, if you are still looking for your Wedding DJ/MC - stop. You will not be disappointed! Highly recommend! Thanks! What an amazing experience! Fortun Entertainment made my wife and I's wedding more than just a wedding, it was a PARTY from beginning to end. Even before the wedding, planning everything from the lighting, music, and the fine details regarding the schedule of the wedding was seemless. I would recommend their business to anyone for any kind of event. You won't regret it! read more

Sam and Eugene did an amazing job at my wedding. Sam's professionalism from the time of booking up until after the wedding was unbelievable. He was thorough and kind, always checking in and reassuring us that he would make our ceremony and reception perfect..and he did. I've had several guests tell me how much they enjoyed his selection and his MC Eugene. Sam also assisted us with a photobooth team and when our decor team mistakenly set up our backdrop incorrectly, Sam and his team came to the rescue. Choosing Fortun Entertainment for our wedding day was one of the best decisions we made. Thank you Sam! read more

Had the pleasure of having Sammy DJ for our holiday party in Dec 2017, and his partner Eugene DJ for our holiday party in Dec 2018. Working with them was easy from beginning to end. They respond promptly, show up early, and are very adaptable to the changes that happen during the event. They were kind enough to ask for a playlist of list of songs that we want played, and even had sound bites for the various games our company wanted to play. Look forward to booking this company again in the future. They're my go-to guys! read more

Sam was the most perfect wedding DJ anyone can ask for. He was so detailed in his work. Put in overtime on his craft to make sure everything was up to par. He brought lights that coordinated the venue perfectly. He made great entrances for us and made it very smooth for my and my wife. He had everyone dancing the whole night through. Eugene the wedding MC had everyone going wild as well as being organized with everything. Everyone had a blast I definitely recommend this company 1000 percent read more

This is a long overdue review of what an incredible DJ team Sammy and his daughter Sam are that entertained our wedding. From the start Sammy was professional, asked the right questions and put a bride like me at ease due to his experience in events. He offered great suggestions and delivered in a way I couldn't even imagine. The day of the wedding he executed perfection. From the up-lights, to the music to his vibe- my husband and I were so happy! Sam DJ'd cocktail hour and I remembered how she just knew all the right music to play (how did she know all the 90's hits?) this duo is definitely who you need at your event! Don't look any further! read more

Fortun Entertainment for the win, folks! These boys came through in a big way for me for my wedding. I'm the kinda guy who can sometimes leave things to the very last possible minute which when planning a wedding can be problematic. It was kind of one of those things where I checked the calendar and thought, "Oh man, I have like a year to lock down music for the reception." Next thing I know, there is like a month left and i'm kinda scrambling to make sure we have someone that is professional and really good at what they do. I am very happy to say that my procrastinating didn't prevent us from having FIRE entertainment thanks to Eugene and Sam. They met with me before the wedding to feel out what we were going for vibe-wise and delivered day of beautifully. People are still talking about how great the music was at the reception. They felt the day out perfectly. Appropriate music for the cocktail hour that allowed people to chat and chill. Good selection for dinner that wasn't too loud or quiet. Just right for the moment. They provided great wireless mics for the speeches, allowed me to send them some songs for the special dances. When time came, they switched it up and got people out of their seats with their energy and song selections. It really was everything we wanted/needed for our special day. Sam and Eugene are just great guys, ya know. They made everything easy. We really appreciated that. Thanks again, guys! Do yourself a favor and hire Fortun for your next event. Check out the photos of the guys doing their thing and our packed dance floor. read more

We cant say enough for all he did for our wedding. He is very professional and easy going. He sat down with us and talked about our music preferences and got to know what style of music we were going for. He provided extra equipment such as a projection screen and extra speakers. He had everyone dancing and entertained throughout the whole night. I highly recommend Sammie and his company! read more

The timeliness and professionalism of Fortun entertainment is stellar. DJ Sam was totally engaging in his prep before the event. His questions about our event attendees and family totally enabled him to properly arrange music tracks for our multi cultural family and friends, that kept them grooving on the dance floor all night. Fortun Entertainment is also very tech savvy, we paid for the "Uplighting Package" and boy was it worth it! Our night time event looked spectacular. So, if you want a reasonably priced professional DJ who even dresses to represent the style of the event, look no further. Fortun Entertainment is # 1 and just is case you are wondering I have used others. D and K Gaither. read more

I know everyone likes to believe that they had the best wedding when compared to other weddings, but I truly believe that our wedding was one of the best I've ever been to, lol. A big part of that is because of these guys! Sammy And Eugene had the party going all night long. Dance floor stayed live until the venue had to shut the lights out on us. I honestly couldn't have asked for more. Great guys, easy to work with, and they really do know what they're doing. Highly recommended! read more

We used Junior B (Eugene) and the Fortun Entertainment crew to MC and DJ our wedding back in 2016! That night was a night to remember (of course) but not only did Eugene make the night by MC-ing the whole night keeping everyone involved and participating, he kept the dance floor literally full all night with his awesome DJ skills. Of course he asked for a song list from us but he improvised and made the playlist his own and rocked it! He gave us options for bigger or smaller sound and lighting systems depending on how big we wanted to rage =), we went with a medium setup and he allowed us to add our own props and decorations to his setup which made him look more like a Festival DJ =). A big plus you don't find in all wedding DJ's, Eugene is the most organized wedding coordinator, he pretty much had our wedding schedule planned and executed on time which took a heap load of stress off of us! We didn't have to hire a separate wedding planner!!! So basically we got a MC, DJ, and a wedding coordinator all in one =) read more

We had these guys for our daughter's Quinceañera. Sammy and his MC, Ray, are absolutely the best. Very professional, while at the same time making you feel like family. They kept our guests entertained the entire evening. They know how to keep the crowd hyped-up and engaged, and kept the party rolling even when we ran into a few snags (to no fault of their own), which the guests never knew happened at all. During our daughter's dance with her court, the kids got mixed up and left the dance floor earlier than expected for a wardrobe change. This is when Ray immediately jumped on the mic and said a few words to divert the attention to him (as if it were part of the routine) and everything just kept running smoothly along. He played it off perfectly. They communicate with you from beginning to end (and of course, days before the event takes place) to make sure everything is done to your liking and preference. They felt the mood of the room and played all the right music (from hip-hop, latin, Top 40, 90's, pop music and everything in-between) at all the right times. There was never a dull moment at our party. Thanks again Sammy and Ray!!! read more

I just had my Panorama City Kaiser Permanente Christmas Party last night with Sammy and Eugene. Words can not express how much they entertained the crowd. They knew how to hype them up, play music that kept them dancing until midnight, and used amazing lightning that really "lit" up the dance floor and the whole ballroom . Just to let know that this is the second time I used Fortun Entertainment and this party was better than the first one! read more
