Great food, service, and ambiance!…read more I loved the vibe of the aurora. The restaurant was space and astrology themed with each sever having their astrology sign on their name tag! So cute. I ordered the eggs Benedict. One of my eggs was slightly overcooked, but the other one was nice and runny. My friend ordered a medium steak with her Caesar salad, and it came out well done, but they immediately fired a new steak and quickly brought out the corrected temperature for her. The restaurant has a view of the pool and it's very well lit inside. Nice brunch spot near UCF! Parking was free, but they also had a valet option.

I had heard good things about the eggplant dish from a friend, but I asked if they could substitute chicken for the eggplant at an additional cost. The chef declined the substitution, which was a little surprising, but okay. I ended up trying the eggplant as prepared, and it was actually very good and one of the highlights of the meal. The chowder was also excellent and probably one of my favorite things we tried. Unfortunately, I had a pretty rough experience with the camel empanadas. On my first small bite, the empanada was so incredibly hot that it essentially burst, getting extremely hot oil on and around my lips and burning me. That definitely made the rest of dinner less enjoyable. I'd strongly suggest allowing these to rest a little longer before serving. The biggest disappointment was the gator fried rice. The gator was extremely chewy, and overall the dish lacked flavor. I wouldn't order that one again. We also tried the Super Nova, which was good but very rich. I think it makes much more sense as something for a larger group to share rather than a dessert for one or two people. Overall, 3/5. There were some genuinely good dishes, particularly the chowder and eggplant, and the service was pleasant, but the long wait, empanada incident, and disappointing gator fried rice kept the overall experience from being a standout.

It's very spacious and is capable of hosting a very large group at the outside tables. Parking is very easy since it's in a plaza, and the restaurant is very easy to find. Staff was very friendly. They made sure to check on us constantly and the service was very quick. The food was decent. I ordered the wings and had half classic buffalo and half crispy spicy. It was tasty but a little dry. **Important note** They fry their food in the same oil they use to fry shelfish. A friend of mine specifically told them she's allergic to shelfish. They brought her fried cauliflower in her poke bowl dish. She asked the waiter if her vegetables were fried with shelfish and they had to take her plate away and remake it without the vegetables. I'm glad she asked because this was a very large oversight on the staff's part. Overall, the place is alright. It's good for a casual social with a group or if you're in the mood for some bar food.

My friend treated me to a birthday lunch this week and when we got to the table, the staff had a birthday card waiting for me! How thoughtful! We came during happy hour and decided to try a few small plates and drinks. The Egg Rolls are a must! They were packed with flavor and a variety of ingredients. My friend especially loved the shrimp. We also tried the quesadillas and sliders on the happy hour menu. Both dishes tasted incredible! Sadly, though the happy hour has half priced apps, the plates are also half sized. They were absolutely delicious, but the dishes felt overpriced for the portion size. As for drinks, I tried the sangria flight. I wasn't expecting such a full portion size and was pleasantly surprised with that. I did, however, only find 2 of the 4 drinks to be especially tasty. I wouldn't order that flight again, but would be interested in their wine offerings. I loved the low lighting in the space as it set such a calm and laid back mood. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and especially loved the food! Totally recommend.

To my surprise, I was disappointed by the food. I got the loaded frings and a 5 x 5 burger. I believe the burger is relatively new, since it wasn't on any of the pictures of their menu on Google. Ambiance: The staff was friendly enough and I do like the fact that you can see them cooking the burgers in front of you. However, looking around at the restaurant, it looks like there was no upkeep. There were broken tiles, tables weren't cleaned, and I believe there might have been mold when I was filling my water cup at the ice machine, like visibly on the spout. Food: Loaded frings- I'm not sure how you mess this one up, but they somehow did it. The fries were overcooked and the bacon was fried to hell. I think you can actually see how burnt the bacon was in the pictures. It tasted like charcoal. Lastly, the fries were completely soaked in cheese sauce, which I'm guessing was from a can. It tasted like the cheese you'd have at state fairs, except more watery. There was more sauce than fries and onion rings! I should have taken a picture after eating half of the fries. I could not eat the bottom half of the frings because it was all soggy Burger- the same cooked-to-hell bacon was used on the burger. Not much else need to say about that. Looking at the picture of the burger, you'd think that the patties were way overcooked as well. That was not entirely the case. The patties weren't extra dry, but they weren't as juicy as I would have liked a burger to be. I'd say it was just okay. Maybe a half step below average. I really wanted to like this place, but I wasn't able to. I'm not sure if I came by on an odd day, because the reviews say otherwise. I really hope management can fix these issues.
