First off the food here is always consistent great we come here about once a month abs everytime it's fantastic. The service is always the worst part with servers managing to many things and it shows not their fault they are nice when you get someone's time. NEW EXPERIENCE: Horrible experience & horrible food on Sunday 3/8/26 before noon. Arrived around 11:30 when few people were there so we don't understand why it was necessary to seat us in the back of the place in the "sauna room". It had to be at least 75 degrees if not 80 in there and we passed many many empty tables and booths. (Hostess promised to turn air on. Did not. They did turn on air finally after 10-15 minutes, and many other complaints, and moved us when we asked.) Ordered 2 teas with lemon - rec'd no lemon (till asked again) and very little ice. Husband's glass left empty 5-10 minutes. Next, I was disappointed to be told I couldn't have the vegetarian Rueben sandwich (on the online menu but not on in-house restaurant menu tho it contains simple, in-house ingredients. Waiter just said no and didn't check with kitchen.) Husband ordered bone-in rib-eye steak - tasted charred on outside tho it was cooked correctly at medium on inside. Seasoning on it didn't cover up the char taste. I settled for a chicken salad (lettuce with pecans and grilled chicken pieces with honey mustard dressing) but the chicken wasn't tender, tasty or fresh tasting. Lastly, the whole place was disgusting with sticky tables, floors, etc. and restroom was so bad, husband nearly slipped. (Noticed they have a 91 health score - incredible. Did they pay them off?) We're great tippers for great service and food. Too bad. We wont be back - unless management changes. Until then, wouldn't eat here again for free. read more

So as many report, the food appears premade heated, and played as- is at many "casual" restaurants. The saddest thing about the food was Im pretty sure it was all made "correctly", it just was not fresh, had no taste, or tasted "off". Bacon cheese Burger: saddest part of the meal. A meat hockey puck with premade grill marks. Not sure it even touched a grill. Served lukewarm. No juice, no fat, no flavor. Daughter had lemon pepper grilled fish. It was ok. A microwave tv dinner could approximate it well enough. Wife had pineapple chicken and shrimp. Chicken was oddly firm -- was probably already cooked in a bag. Dessert: can't mess that up right? So the famous Cookie Monster was the whole reason we went. Sigh. the cookie was cold. I suppose they don't bake them to order anymore? Daughter wanted carrot cake. Can't mess that up right? It was a kind of cake. It tasted mildly of carrot? maybe? Oddest part: this gross cold Caramel sauce that tasted nothing like carrot cake--just sweet sauce. "Scratch" kitchen doesn't mean made from scratch, obviously. Save your money. Grill or fry a burger. Get some carrot cake from Publix. Yes, I don't feel well lol. Edit: $75 after tip. Pretty unhappy. I am seriously concerned food was not even brought to safe serving temp. For the sake of your customers, if you're going to plop down heat and serve "food" at least heat it sufficiently so we don't get sick. read more

I can't express my disappointment with the management at this location. The servers are receiving absolutely zero back up from their supervisors and it shows. Our plates were never cleared. The servers would be over sat and didn't get any help. Sides came out at different times than the entree. Just a really disappointing experience and ownership needs to step in and make some changes to make this a less disappointing experience for those who will come after us. read more

We couldn't get a drink in the bar after 25 minutes and after trying to order from the bartender who said she would check whose station we were in. She literally ignored us for 20 min. I really hate giving bad ratings but WHEW. This place is struggling. Upon entering we waited about 2 minutes before a worker noticed us there and came to seat us. The restaurant was not full whatsoever which makes sense because we came for Friday lunch. However, when I sat service was SLOW? Wow. Took about 7 mins for them to come and take our drink order and about 5 mins to actually get drinks. I normally wouldn't find this a problem, but the sever for our table was so unfriendly. He rolled his eyes when we asked questions about the menu and made us feel like we were wasting HIS time. Appetizers took quite a while to come out (Wisconsin cheese bites) and they were not fresh. No satisfying cheese-pull because they just weren't hot. Also took quite a while for the main entrees to come and the flavors were nothing to write home about. But you know what DIDN'T take long to come?? The CHECK. He brought our check literally RIGHT AFTER we started eating, unprompted. Who does that?? This made us feel like he was rushing us even though we had been there for over an hour and just got our meals. He even demonstrated how to pay using the little machine on the table...while we are still eating and chatting so we had to pause our conversations to listen to his rushed presentation... Went here a couple of weeks ago. Literally the filthiest restaurant I have ever been too. Floors were so greasy I was concerned my Mom might slip and break a hip on the tile floor. We arrived after the main dinner hour and there were a lot of still dirty tables. We had to wait while our table was cleaned but still had to clean off all the grease of the seats before we sat down. We waited an hour for very average food and one drink never arrived. My daughter mentioned that she and her husband used to drive all the way from South Huntsville just to have dinner there. Our waiter Javarious was so exceptional. He didn't even write our order down, he memorized all of it, he even took the table order near us, again without writing it down. Honestly the food was awful. I order an appetizer, entrée, and dessert and can not say one thing was good. The service was pretty slow for how empty it was there but our waitress was very nice. Sunday after church we went to Cheddars for lunch. First the menus were all sticky along with the salt and pepper shakers. We cleaned them. We were greeted by a very nice waitress. She got and retrieved our drink orders and then we gave her our meal orders. Out comes the croissants after about 10 minutes. One person ordered a salad. We waited patiently for our food. Then 45 minutes later we were told by the waitress that our food was coming very soon. After 12-15 minutes my husband asked a waiter to send the manager to our table. A random waitress dropped off another pan of croissants!! I told her we already had some as she quickly ran away. 10 more minutes our food finally came. Was told by our waitress that they had run out of spinach dip (one person's order). Spinach dip held up everyone's order?!! No one gave us a clue about that! One person's salmon and broccoli was generously overcooked ! My pasta was dry on one side with warm sauce in the middle. Pasta and shrimp were like reheated and rubbery! The manager finally walked by our table as if he was doing a check on tables. My husband stopped him to complain and all he said was, "sorry about that. I heard they ran out of spinach dip!" Yuck! I wanted to try this place as we don't have one where I am from and from service to food it was all just bad. There was no one at the host stand upon walking in and it looked to have maybe one waiter in the whole place. The server himself came to the front and sat us at our table and then left and we didn't see him for about 15 min. He finally came back and didn't take drink orders just asked if we were ready. So we placed both our food and drink orders at same time. Our drinks took another 15 minutes to come out, and their soda machine was down which he failed to mention until 15 min later when he comes back and says, "oh I keep forgetting we are out of soda, what else would you want?" so my husband orders a sweet tea. Another few minutes the drinks come out. The food comes another 5 min or so after the drinks and the smokehouse burger my husband got looked kind of gray. My husband stated it tasted freezer burnt and off. I ordered chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and a side salad. The mashed potatoes tasted awful. Like a cheap box mix. Their country gravy was very bland and not very gravy like in consistency. Basically, the food looked like it had been sitting out for some time before being served. Our waiter never came back once to check on us or the other tables nearby and luckily a kiosk was on the table so we could pay and leave but we will not be back. read more

I have checked in on two separate occasions now and have had ridiculous wait times for a table. The first time an estimated 30 minute wait turned in to almost an hour. The second time, signing in online for a 5-10 minute wait turned in to over 45 minutes once I arrived at the restaurant. Food was decent, but portion was not accurate with what was presented or said. Honestly wouldn't recommend just because it would kill your whole mood for the day. 0/10 starts honestly. Food was okay, our waitress service was really good and she was nice. Restaurant was overall clean but a few tables had dirty dishes just sitting on them our whole meal. Fries were burnt and dried out, not a lot of sauce on the pasta dish, but those chicken fingers were good. Ordered dessert and the cake was just as cold as the ice cream. read more

My wife and came here for lunch today! The staff was very friendly. The waitress was on top of everything. She was not pushy at all when it came to place our orders. The food came out very quickly, was cooked perfectly, a s everything was correct. My wife had the 6oz sirloin steak and grilled shrimp with corn and green beans. She enjoyed it!
