By the time most of you read this review, they will be holding their grand re-opening on Monday,…read moreJuly 22, 2024. I was not aware that they were closed for renovations and stopped by this last Saturday. The owner came out and greeted me and let me know that he was not fully open for business yet, but when he heard that I had driven quite a ways, he welcomed me inside The owner, Moe, is one of those larger than life people that you can't help but gravitate towards. He has a big personality and I can see why he has been successful. Show me where they popped the popcorn and bag everything on a daily basis. His full menu will also feature flavored cotton candies and hotdogs among other items. I purchased bag of dill pickle, cheese drizzled caramel, White cheddar jalapeño and regular caramel flavor. Each and every one was delicious and well worth it. Moe told me about his renovation and how he reconfigured the kitchen and lobby area. The place looks great and I encourage everyone to try cheddarboy popcorn! I look forward to my next visit and will try other flavors and let you know how they are. Total great experience!

My fiancé and I tried Cheddarboy Popcorn for the first time last year at Bite of Seattle. The owner…read morewas so friendly and passionate about her business that it rubbed off on us, and we were excited to visit their store front. They recently finished remodeling their store, and we jumped on the opportunity to buy some delicious popcorn. We wanted to try as many flavors as we could, so we bought the small bags ($5 each) of the white cheddar, jalapeño white cheddar, hot cheddar, sour cream and cheddar, Buffalo, jalapeño cheddar, and cookies and cream. We definitely splurged and have no regrets haha. Oh my goodness, every flavor we tried was a flavor bomb! We are so impressed by how flavorful and accurate to the name each popcorn was. For example, hot cheddar was actually hot/spicy! My fiancé is a spicy lover and he absolutely smashed this one. Jalapeño white cheddar was my personal favorite. You can taste the creaminess of the white cheddar and the kick of the jalapeño. The cookies and cream one reminded me of cookies and cream puppy chow/muddy buddies. So delish. We would definitely recommend anyone who loves a solid popcorn to come here. Probably one of the best popcorns I've ever had!

In addition, the staff was not very friendly. Overall, it was a poor experience, and we only drank a small amount before throwing it away.

I've been to Gosanko's twice I believe. It's located inside the Supermall. Not only is it a…read morechocolate boutique but it also has all capability of being a coffee shop as well. There is indoor seating and quite a bit of roped off seating out of the store and in the mall corridor. The first time I was here I ducked in and got a small hot chocolate drink which was quite pleasant. It was quite a while back but I also believe I bought some truffles and enjoyed them. But a refresher was in order since I did not have a review for this business and wanted to correct that. So I went in again this past weekend and bought some more chocolates to go on. I bought two of the store's orange sticks dipped in milk chocolate. My dad always liked these out of a box my mother purchased at the grocery store but I always found out that chocolate boutiques' versions are always better and that was no exception here. The chocolate tasted like chocolate and the orange jelly inside tasted like orange jelly. Score! I also got a champagne truffle which I really liked too! I also purchased some haystacks which is coconut cluster dipped in dark chocolate in this case and a couple different nut clusters for Steve. All purchased here was good and this sweet shop is a nice little oasis through all the clothing shops in the mall.

Prices were amazing (we literally…read morebrought home eight pumpkins), and there were tons of food trucks, photo ops, games, activities for lils, and pumpkin varieties. We spent a few hours here and had nonstop fun (even when it started raining). People were also super sweet to our dog, which was a huge plus!

I recently visited Picha Farms for strawberry picking. My family used to come here often when I was…read morea kid, and the strawberries still taste as good as I remember! The farm is easy to find. Just follow the directions to the Puyallup stand and the U-pick field is right across the street. There's an outhouse behind the stand if you need a restroom. Otherwise, head straight to the U-pick area, where there's plenty of parking. The check-in is at a small white tent, where they provide cardboard boxes for picking. I went on a Saturday morning. They opened at 9 AM and charged $4.10 per pound. What I really like about this farm is how organized it is. Staff will direct you to a specific row of plants, and you'll use a flag to mark where you stopped picking. It was easy to find plenty of ripe strawberries and we filled two boxes quickly. It's hard to judge the weight by sight, but each box was probably about 7.5 pounds, since the total came to around $60. Two key tips: 1. Check their Facebook page for up-to-date hours and availability, since they change with the weather. 2. Bring cash or a personal check because they don't accept credit cards.
