While cost might vary by vehicle's make, model, and year, I paid $139 per window + tax, which I found to be extremely competitive pricing especially given the speed of their work and friendly customer service. I was pleasantly described to receive a clean car without clutter or glass shards upon retrieving my car. If you don't have a ride to pick you up and drop you off, there's a waiting room with comfortable couches and a water station inside. I wouldn't wish car repairs upon anyone, but if you were to need them on the Midtown area, I'd recommend you come here!

Yelp has a great feature that helps you find a businesses to help with certain needs. I created a project request on Yelp and was expecting to get a response in the morning when shops are open. To my surprise Quick Auto Glass responded to me within 10 mins. They gave me an estimate and the time of their business hours. They open at 8am and I arrived at 8:30. There was only one guy at the shop and he spoke little English but immediately got on the phone and told his partner I was there and gave him my vehicle information. He then told me "window on way" and he started vacuuming up the broken glass and doing the prep work. About an hour later his partner arrived with my window and with the prep work done he was able to install the window in about 10 mins. I was charged the estimated price I was given, plus tax of course. My only complaint is when I got home and was looking over everything I noticed a good amount of glass still under my seat. I had the unfortunate luck of having my car broken into while out for dinner in the Heights. The…read morethieves tried to break into the front window first, but since they are tempered, it just cracked the corner. They then went to the back window which shattered easily. Sadly, this happens all over Houston and if you leave anything out in the open, the odds are they will get you. I immediately put in a quote request using Yelp and got messages back in a decent amount of time. Atlas wasn't the highest rated out of the companies, but their prices were very good and they were able to get me in next day. I chose not to file a claim with insurance as the deductible was higher than the cost of the windows. The gentleman I talked to was quick to respond and very courteous. They had my back window in stock which was my main concern. I showed up to their located in Southeast Houston. It's an old shop with a lobby that isn't the most comfortable. I waited on my vehicle which took a lot longer then they originally told me. I paid when the job was done and was given instructions not to roll down the windows for a few days, and that they cleaned out all broken glass. In typical Justin fashion, I took them for their word and went on home. Upon closer inspection, there was still glass remnants all around. When I did roll down my window, it would not go back up. I called and was told to bring the vehicle back. Right away, they told me it was not their fault and that I would need a new motor and regulator for the window. I was told I could buy the part and they would do it for me. There is no way I can confirm that it wasn't their fault, but my vehicle is pretty new and I know those parts don't fail that easily. Overall, the customer service started off great, but I was not happy that I was sent home with something that wasn't properly working. The prices were good, but I would much rather pay more for complete service.

However, in my opinion, from the standpoint of someone garnering quotes for a future mirror replacement, the receptionist or customer service associate who answered the phone did not have a good enough concept of (potential) customer relations. After a truly harrowing, somewhat traumatizing freeway experience, I thought the person answering the phone would at least have some kind of empathy or even just a professional, friendly tone. My initial request to speak to a mechanic or service advisor was ignored. Anyways, I volunteered info about the make, model, year and color of the car, but she only seemed interested in the VIN number, which I provided. Any other place asks for all of this info. She actually said I read the VIN number too fast at the end of my reading of it, which makes no sense as I never read numbers that fast out of courtesy. I even took the extra step of making sure she got the letters correctly, but, again, she did not appreciate that. Instead, she rather unprofessionally and abruptly ended the entire call. I've never had this kind of low vibration, low intelligence customer service from any auto-related business. So, I called back and left a message thinking perhaps the owner would contact me either the same day or the next, to no avail. Every other business I have contacted, from dealerships to independent repair and body shops, have had much more impressive and professional communications.
