I was at the Checkes #5380 on January 1, 2024 at 1136am. I have the Checkers/Rally's rewards and have a reward "BUY ONE BACON ZILLA GET ONE FREE expiration January 2, 2025. The cashier at the walk up order window said I could not use this reward until Jan. 2. I tried to explain to her the reward was good until Jan. 2 that I wanted to use the coupon today. She still insisted the coupon was not good. After arguing she said what did I want to order. I said the reward was what I wanted plus 4 apple pies small fries and a checker single no lettuce no tomato. She said ok. I paid with my credit card. After I paid she shut the window glass on me. I knocked on the window and said I want my receipt but she just walked away. When I went to the pick up window I asked the different person for my receipt which she gave me. I looked at the receipt and I was charged for 2 baconzillas not one. I went to the Order window and said I want a refund for one of the burgers she said no. I said I was going to call the police she said go ahead and shut the window on me. I called the police but they said I had to make a complaint to the corporate office it was a civil matter which I am now doing. If this complaint is not taken care of I will make a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and the Maryland Attorney Generals office read more

Asked for no onion on my sandwich because I'm allergic. Said it slowly and clearly 3 times, they even repeated it back. I get my sandwich with mounds of onion on it. ‍I'm all for a living minium wage, but this kind of thing makes it hard to keep that belief. read more

This little fat, goblin neck cashier MALACHI DS239 gave me the wrong food I let her know it was the wrong food she then turns around walks over like she was fixing it, then hide it in the bottom of the bags like she hide candy in the fat folds of her neck so I could drive off not knowing it was the wrong order. First I'm allergic to the ingredients in barbecue sauce and second if you go thru all that why not just fix it right it's your job if you don't like it your thick azz should have went to college or paid attention in school instead of memorizing the lunch menu or what new snacks will be out in 2024. All I can say is thanks for the raw chicken Checkers. Thanks but no thanks. I'm now surprised I see so many people in line here. I orders on DoorDash and when it arrived I took one bite and raw chicken. I submitted a complaint to DoorDash immediately and they refunded my money. Ordered this for delivery on 9/20. The delivery person had to wait at the store for about 20 minutes to get the order. The food was hot when it finally arrived. Everything was very good tasting and the quantity and quality was good. Would have gave them another star if the service was faster. read more

The order taker seems to be on a cool and rushes the customer to make a decision from a plethora of options on the menu. I find this to be the case at all Checkers. In addition to feeling rushed when there was no line or waiting customers, we paid $15 for 2 sloppy burgers with bacon crumbs not strips. The presentation was terrible. The cheese wasn't melted AT ALL. What's the rush of the end result is trash??? The only thing that was hot was the fries. I feel like I wasted my money and could've gone across the street to the chicken and waffles restaurant. We will not be returning. Perhaps, if they slow down the quality would be better. read more

The worst! We've lived in this area for 19 years and this location has come to a crashing halt! It was one of our favorite fast food restaurants to go to but NO MORE! The last three visits we've come home to find paid food for missing! We've attempted to reach them in the past but no response. I refuse to spend any additional money there. (A Male using wife's profile) If I could give negative stars, I would! Had the worst experience here this morning (Checkers on Leonardtown Rd. in Waldorf, MD). I work in customer service/sales. so this is really big to me. Checkers opens at 10am (which I did not know BTW-thinking they opened earlier). I pulled up to the Drive Thru Speaker/Mic at 9:55am. I waited for a minute. Someone yells out of the speaker "we open at 10". As a light hearted joke, I said "Oh, ok...is it possible for you to take my order and put it in at 10"? I was ignored... So then, someone yells out at 9:57, "you can't sit there"... I was like, "I'm sorry, excuse me?"... They repeated, "You can't sit there". Then I heard "we will call the police". I immediately felt disrespected and asked for the manager. (Now, there is no sign stating you cannot sit in the drive thru and if this is their policy, the way it was unprofessionally yelled at me (by a manager and their staff), was unacceptable)...It is now 9:58 and now another car has pulled up behind me (this makes two cars now, including mine) waiting for 10am. The manager comes to the speaker and rudely yells "I am the manager and you cannot sit there, you have to drive back around and come back at 10"... At this point, I am just flabbergasted at what's going on. I asked the manager, "So you want me to drive around and come back at 10, but there is another car behind me...and since it's 9:59, by the time I drive around, this car will pull up and it will be 10am and they will be able to order, even though I sat here for 5 minutes waiting patiently having to endure this horrible customer service". The manager walked away and at 10:02am, a new young lady came through to take my order. Once she was finished, I drove up and let her know, it wasn't her giving the poor customer service, it was the manager and another employee. The young lady at the window understood my point and offered to provide my food at no charge. Unfortunately, my feelings about this place have been swayed by the the manager and one of employees. I will NEVER go back to this Checkers again. NO ONE SHOULD.... Customer Service: Negative 5 (-5). (P.S. I wish I could say this what a good experience, but unfortunately it went pretty bad. We ordered a simple meal for 3 people during lunchtime. Obviously it is pretty busy at lunch so I chalk the wait time up to that. But we ended up waiting for a good 10 minutes to have our order missing fries and they had forgotten our drinks as well. The manager gave us 3 small drinks when we asked and she even checked her receipt which had my my large drink, a medium and a small drink on it. But they gave us 3 smalls. The only reason why this isn't a 1 Star is because the regular employee there was very polite and apologetic of the wait. The manager wasn't nice at all. And that is what ruins it. This was our first time getting food at Checkers and it will definitely be our last. Fist of all, the service was terrible. The person at the window didn't even bother exchanging one word with us besides handing me the food and when I said "Thank you," all I got back from her was "mhmmm." Definitely worth a teaching moment for my kids to show them what good customer service does NOT luck like. The food itself- let's just say, half of it ended up in the trash. The fries were completely over seasoned, the chicken bites box had tons of grease running down it's lid, and the burger was the worst I have ever eaten. Shoe leather would have been tastier and more tender than the piece that came with the burger. Not even the slop of soggy lettuce with the completely tasteless glob of sauce could make that burger juicy enough to swallow. The $20 bag of food was a disaster from beginning to end. read more

Very disappointed with the food. I purchased food for four people and it was not fresh. It tasted like it was sitting around for hours. However the Checkers out here in the DC area aren't always in the greatest neighborhoods, and I actually don't even know where the closest one to me would be.
