Stopped in for dinner Thursday night. After being out in the rain most of the day the cozy…read moreatmosphere was welcome. Everyone at my table ordered one of the speclity beers I chose the blueberry one. The serving was huge. I didn't think I'd be able to drink it all -but it went down so smooth I did. We started out our meal with the pretzel appetizer. Delicious, just the way I like them, a thin coating of butter and not too much salt and a few dips to choose from. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. I had the buttermilk chicken sandwich, for my entree, it was huge! I didn't think I could eat it all - but I did. The sandwich came with a side of tots. There were millions of them it seemed (I was not able to eat all of those). It was a great place to meet friends for dinner on a cold and rainy night.

We made the 10 minute drive to downtown Davenport and found the place with easy parking right across the street. This a neat spot near the Mississippi River and in an old brick building. The restaurant was rustic industrial and very clean and pleasing. We were greeted and took a seat near the window where we could view the river area. Our server was quite attentive. I ordered the smoked Gouda burger and cheese curds and my wife ordered the chicken strip basket. Our food arrived in a quick manner. The burger was awesome. The Gouda cheese was creamy and the burger and grilled onions were hot and fresh. The cheese curds were hot and fresh and came with a side of house made ranch dressing. My wife enjoyed the chicken strips that appeared hand breaded and she really liked the hush puppies (yes, we time time for the hush puppies). This was a pleasant change from the other meals we had on this trip. If your are in the area, give it a try. The photo of my meal almost didn't happen because I was enjoying it so much.

The food is excellent. The cheese curd appetizer is amazing. The entire menu is delicious! Pizzas, flatbread, burgers, sandwiches and salads. The burgers are a family favorite. Service is very attentive and they were quick to rectify the single error we've had in an order. We like the ambiance as well. There is a patio for outdoor seating-very close to the bike path along the river and we often see groups of cyclists stop for refreshments.

It's down across from the river in an older building. There's a good amount of parking and tons of character! We sat outside on a nice night - there were probably 8-10 picnic tables as well as a good amount of seating inside. The beer selection was solid and included a number of nonalcoholic options. The food here is gastropub style stuff and was really good! The Cobb salad was a memorable one with a ton of meat. The kids got Philly cheesesteaks - those were unexpectedly delicious and included homemade cheese whiz. Another kiddo got a chicken bacon ranch flatbread - excellent and reminded delicious out of the fridge the following day! The pizzas looked good too and were (as we found) all available as flatbreads. The service was excellent and despite the busy evening, they got to us quick and took good care of us. We don't often plan to return to out of town spots, but this is one we'll definitely be back to!

We saw a picture of the milkshakes and decided we HAD to come here. Great looking restaurant, very clean and modern. Our waitress was super nice, always making sure we had what we needed. We started off with an appetizer of cheese curds. They had a combo basket with all 3 flavors; regular, garlic, and jalapeño. Very disappointed, could not tell the difference in flavor between the 3. We asked our waitress if it was a mistake and we didn't get the combo but she unfortunately said no and that people have mentioned that before. I of course got a burger, bison burger, brioche bun, and the toppings I like. I built my own because I just couldn't make up my mind. I loved it, cooked perfectly, juicy, so much flavor. I think it was my first time ever having bison and I enjoyed it. Fries were good. Now here comes the delicious part, we got a chocolate chip cookie sundae to share because we were stuffed, and the price of the milkshakes seemed a little high. It did take a little longer than we hoped to get to our table, but our great waitress kept us updated and apologized for the wait. It was so good, my mouth is watering 30 hours later thinking about it. It was enough for 2 adults and a 21 month old. We will definitely come back when we are in the area. I do think it's a little overpriced. But I really enjoyed dining here and can't wait to come back.

We shared the family pretzel and I had the Mr. Anderson burger; both were delicious! The burger was a touch overcooked (ordered medium), but still good. The owner Joe is outstanding at customer service! At first, I will a little put off because I called and called numerous times to order.. and couldn't get through. We have since ordered here again and again there was a few hiccups but again very delicious food! We plan on trying again once everything is opened up again!! Thank you Joe & Amy for everything!!

No telling how many were working the kitchen but our orders took longer than heat & serve meals should take. The two ladies were gracious and polite but only one of them was hustling. She was running circles around the other one (who didn't seem very bright) Anyway, this was our first time there and there were two other tables adjacent to ours who had first-time visitors. We were all whispering amongst ourselves just how bad the experience was. The ketchup bottles were all empty and the napkins at the bar were not stocked. You could tell the afternoon shift dropped the ball and the manager (owner??) didn't have a handle on the situation. Completely ill prepared for a Friday night dinner rush. We won't be going back until we see an "under new management" sign posted.
