Edd's Drive-In is a long-standing business in Pascagoula, Mississippi…read more I am a huge fan of the concept of a drive-in. The drive-in is such a slice of Americana and reminds me of generations gone. The concept of the drive-in grew with America's love of cars and there is something so cool about going to a drive-in. To be clear, Edd's Drive-In does not have car hops, you go wait in line outside a window, buy the food is still what you would expect. The menu is burgers, fries, hot dogs, milk shakes and the like. I went with a double chili cheeseburger and a chili dog. Both were good, but not great. The price was five dollars for the double chili cheeseburger and about three dollars for the chili dog. I will say that the place was pretty busy, so obviously, the community of Pascagoula, Mississippi lives this place. If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend Edd's Drive-In.

The process to paying is interesting but you can figure it out. Some people called in orders but she seemed a bit busy to deal with this. Shrimp poboy is good but the shrimp are a bit small. The bread is very good but just a bit much for the poboy. Don't skip the onion rings. The day we went they had a bowl of gumbo with a free refill for $3. That is correct, basically two bowls for $3. I think I would go back for a standard butterfly shrimp plate. The bathroom smells very unpleasant.
