Recently bought a home in Afton. Been here twice now. You can't come in expecting brand names or even food items within the expiration date. The food items are canned and an expiration date is merely a suggestion. They are packed with so many preservatives that the shelf life is endless. Did you ever see "Blast from the Past"? They did just fine eating their supply of canned foods for 30 years. There are great deals here if you're just coming in to browse. There is a $5 credit card minimum just FYI. read more

There is an eclectic assortment of things to buy very cheaply, but you have to deal with overwhelming cigarette smoke inside. I went in this morning and it smelled of cigarette smoke and I had to leave because it made my eyes burn. read more

Sometimes you'll find cool stuff in here, however I do not recommend purchasing food items from within here as most of them are out of date or damaged. Sometimes they carry really cute rugs. It's a hit or miss. read more

Checked the date on five different food items and they're all expired. Checked date on health and beauty items with same results.

I don't know why other people are so negative about this store. I shop there a lot. I have bought a lot of food there. Have never been disappointed. Meat is always good, I do watch expiration dates, and have found some great deals there. It is not all junk. Bought bamboo pillows there at a great price !! I was initially psyched to visit this store because I love closeouts and random merchandise. But wow...what an unbelievable waste of time! Every single thing in this store is, in my opinion, better suited for the garbage. I am honestly shocked that there were customers in line making purchases here. read more

I love this place, i'm a big time hunter and last year they got in a shipment of Bass Pro Shops overstocks and returns. I bought a $70 quiver there for $3, as well as vanes for my arrows for $.99... Amazing deals BUT you have to search and they dont often have things that are worth buying. It's really a crap shoot. Wife and I go in every Saturday just to make sure. read more

Don't walk in this store and expect really nice stuff. The only thing that is nice is the mattresses, rugs, and furniture. If you buy food here, I highly recommend you check the expiration date before buying it. Also, do NOT buy any meds here. Cheaper, sure, but I don't think I would trust it. Most of the stuff is just overstock from other stores. That's why it's so cheap. It's the left overs. I have bought many things here, but they have mainly been pictures, signs, rugs, and my mom bought a really nice mattress there once. Also, do NOT buy batteries. I bought batteries there once and I put them in my wireless mouse and it only lasted a few days, where regular batteries last months at a time in a wireless mouse (which I don't ever turn off). read more
