I'm a freshly 20 year old female without any experience behind the wheel, and I mean any!! Unfortunately, my nerves got the best of me during my first lesson and I freaked out. I caused myself and my instructor some stress, and sadly I was unmotivated to drive for a while. Before I left a negative review, I contacted Bay Hill's through email. They made things right and scheduled my second appointment with JP, and he was fantastic! I went from shaking like a leaf behind the wheel to having genuine confidence in 2 hours-- No exaggeration! We drove around and shared a heartfelt conversation, in which he also shared some tips on lane switching and turns. Halfway through our session, we stopped for water and stretches, so I knew my comfortability was respected. The negative reviews on this business are so upsetting. This is an excellent Asian-owned, woman-owned small business with so much diversity on their staff. If your first lesson goes awry, contact them!!! They are bound to have someone you are comfortable with. This is an honest review! I could not recommend Bay Hill Driving School enough!

She would smack gum, eat food, and generally had an attitude of not caring. Only until my last class did she run me through a couple of rules but I never really learnt anything under her teaching. It was high pressure and everything I learned was like being tested without knowing there was a test or what the material was on. The only saving grace here is that the people at the office are great, they kindly signed my second permit and gave me another learning certificate for $25 when I lost my first one. I would shop around for a better driving school before settling on this one.

A friend recommended Phuong, and I'm so grateful we found her. From the very first lesson, my daughter felt much more at ease. Phuong is incredibly patient, calm, and understanding, and she created a supportive environment that really helped rebuild my daughter's confidence. Thanks to her guidance, my daughter passed her driving test today! I truly appreciate the way Phuong teaches--not just the technical skills, but also how she encourages and supports her students. It made all the difference for us. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind and effective driving instructor.

My son needed 6 hours driving instruction. They set up the days and times which worked perfect for his winter break which was that week. I called on a Friday after Christmas then got a lesson for the following Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. It was at 3pm which was good for my son to deal with afternoon traffic driving. Instructor: very communicative via text and phone call. Sometimes he was early, which worked great for us. First lesson: went over rules of road and allowed son to drive with much guidance. Second lesson: more driving for my son and learning to merge or lane change. Third lesson: went to dmv to practice route and what will be tested. Hand on papers were provided to the parent on what to practice.

When I enrolled I had the determination and will to succeed. I was driven to put in the time to study and learn every subject they offered. Which included test prep for the general knowledge test, air-brakes, doubles & triples, tankers and HazMat tests. Their instructors are very knowledgeable about how to drive the trucks. From Andres, Herman, Gabriel, Brian, Rich, and lastly Dave. These instructors had a big impact on me here at San Jose Trucking School that will last forever. Thank you so much guys! Finally Ms. Candy, you've been very helpful and your guidance has gotten me to where I'm at now. A safe and knowledgeable CDL driver. Thank you San Jose Trucking School.

I worked so hard to make my money and now it is gone to people who don't do anything to earn a damn dollar I invested in them. Be warned. Don't invest in this place that uses a coolant jug as a coolant reservoir when teaching you about the parts of the truck. I want my money back! I was straight up robbed from the over priced text book with errors to the teacher who spent most of his time in "meetings". I will be reporting them to BPC. I don't appreciate the business owner trying to contact me 1 year after my contract expired to "try and make it right". I won't support her damage control.

I am a slow learner and really was on the verge of giving up when I came to Jorge's class and in no time, I was more confident, composed and comfortable on the motorcycle than I had ever been before. Jorge also helped me with shifting gears smoothly - something that I thought I was just not meant to do. He is very attentive to minor details and can pin point exactly the adjustments you need to do. The techniques he teaches you are also very practical and easy to follow on the road. I wish all the teachers are like Jorge and take a genuine interest in the development of their students and aren't just there to fill time and take our money. That alone should have made me walk away. I still went ahead with lessons and the experience was even worse. The instructor, David, wore a mask the entire time and barely spoke, which made it very hard to understand instructions. He was unprofessional, unfriendly, and clearly not interested in teaching. He gave unclear guidance and made no effort to explain things properly. Despite claiming to prepare students for the DMV test, he never once took me on an actual DMV route or anything close to it. The lessons felt random, rushed, and not structured for learning. I have tried other driving schools in the Bay Area, and this one is by far the worst. Many of the positive reviews appear fake or at least highly misleading, because my experience was the complete opposite. Avoid this school. Avoid David. There are much better options elsewhere.

After receiving my CNA license here, I was able to get a job at a large hospital in the Silicon Valley as a PCT in the same year. I later became an ED tech for the same organization. I continued my education / prerequisites for nursing school while working as a tech and later got accepted into a nursing school in San Jose. This allowed me to work while in Nursing school, and complete the program. My experience was great at this school. Yes, you had to study a bit on your own. And yes, some things may have been outdated, but this school allowed me to get certified while I continued to work my 8-5. It ultimately helped me kickstart my nursing career. My path to becoming a nurse would have been significantly different if this program was not available to me. Other programs took way too long or did not fit with my work schedule. Thank you South Bay School of Nursing!

Originally I wasn't going to post a review, but I feel as I should since my experience wasn't the…read morebest. This school is very unorganized. The head administrator is a retired LVN, and her husband also works as part of administration. There are no online portals or true credentials you get as a student. The only file you have is a manila folder with the proper school forms and whatnot. During my short time there, the head administrator never knew where she placed our files, or was forgetful and always had trouble remembering or doing something. Asking for help from her was almost pointless because she most likely didn't know the answer. Yet, she is quick to collect money and almost always reminds her students to pay on time. Although this school is more affordable compared to other CNA programs in the Bay Area, you do get a sense that they are money hungry for their business. For instance, I paid a certain amount for tuition, but when overhearing admin talk on the phone to a possible student, she told them it was $200 more than what the current class is paying. Not sure how they determine their prices, but this is why it is important for students to do their research. Getting a refund was almost hard too. To be honest I don't think I was refunded the proper amount, but hey I guess they need the money more than I do. Due to Covid, classes were still held in person but the student average was about 12 students. Luckily, there was another LVN who is an instructor for the course. Instructor Akua is super friendly, passionate about his work, and is a great teacher. This rating is more for him, since he actually teaches and takes over majority of the time. I learned a lot from him during my 2 weeks there, and he was even sad to see me leave. If anything I wish admin would treat him better too. He was promised a laptop for his lectures but still hasn't received one. He is hardworking and practically has no days off since he teaches the weekend and some evening classes too. This school is what you make of it, so as long as you pay attention and read the material, you have high chances of passing. And to everyone who was in that same class with me.... lol, best of luck to yall.
