Went here with the hubby for a quick lunch. The prices were okay. What I didn't like were the woman that were sitting next to our table. They seemed like family of the business owner and they were so stuck up. They expected the servers to cater to them and ignore the customers - you know the one's that are actually paying. Then one lady that was part of the family she had her screaming child. You could barely enjoy the meal. The food was good but the whole experience was not so great. It saddens me to write this review but here I go. I have been a customer for at least 5 years, enjoying their churrasquito sandwich all this time. My orders have been getting progressively worse, today topping it off so bad it prompted me to write a review. Ordered my usual churrasquito sandwich to go, medium, with the lettuce and tomato on the side, and a flan to try it out. What do I get? An almost fully cooked steak, with lettuce and tomato inside, and over fried, unsalted fries. To top it off, that cut was not churrasco. Since I'm at home I try to make the best of it, looking forward to the dessert. I finally dig into the flan, to encounter another bland, almost flavorless item. I mean, the $0.75 Goya package I made last week tasted more like a homemade flan than this! Let's say those were the last $20 bucks I spent at Che Tito's, so sad that they only care about making a buck and let go of the quality they used to sell. read more

If I could give them no star I would. We went for lunch at noon and when my husband opened the door, one of the waitresses told him he couldn't come in. When he asked why she said with attitude "the floor is wet, you can't come in". It was time for them to be open, not time for them to be cleaning. They add a tip to the check if the bill is greater than a certain amount. I asked to have the tip removed. They said its posted on their menu that a tip is added. I said that makes no difference and I didn't see that written into the menu. They said nobody was available to remove the tip. The customer receipt has "PRE TIP AMT" scratched out and the amount owed plus tip preauthorized. The tip they added in was $11.55. When a customer says a tip needs to be removed they have to at that time and not next week or the next day. I do not have to leave a tip. It's illegal to charge a tip with no way to change the tip amount. The total for the bill should have been $83.13 but they added $11.55 making the total bill $94.68. They didn't mention a tip had been added in stating later its written on the menu. They charged my card $94.68 and I put $0 for the tip because I noted that they added in a tip without asking me. When I did ask them to change it they said there was no manager and no owner in. They said the owner will be back on Tuesday. I filed a police report. Called them back. They said the owner works Saturday morning and to arrive after she gets off work in the afternoon which is several days before Tuesday. I said legally you are supposed to have someone there at the time the customer asks for the tip to be removed not next week and not the next day. There should be someone there with the authority to change the tip at all times. They said they didn't. I don't like playing tag to get my money back and in the background I could hear her saying--tell her I'm not in. read more

We've been to this restaurant many times and had always been pleased with the food but this last time both my husband and I felt the quality of the meat was not like before. Perhaps just a bad batch. What really turned us off about this last visit was the automatic addition of the gratuity . My family and I have been coming here for years. Their parrilla and churrasco is great! I've ventured into some of their other dishes but wasn't such a hit with me. But I stand by my 4 stars because their meat cooking makes up for it. The wait staff isn't the greatest at time. It really just depends on some of their newer girls. Horrible Service on a Friday Night !!! We are (were at this point) regular customers, and we used to find the food a bit over-priced but of good quality. The service, as other people had mentioned, has a LOT room for improvement. Our experience today was so awful that Che-Titos has lost us as customers. This is a very small place so waiting to be seated is very common. We stood on line for 30 minutes, and then people after us were being seated. When I complained to the waiter in charge of the list, she had forgotten to add us!! She then wanted to add us to the END of list, even when another waiter told her we were there forever!! She kept seating people "because they are large families" and then there was a table for "3" she could not give us because we were two, and at this point very mad and not hungry anymore. I can understand an honest mistake, but the failure to accommodate a displeased client after doing something wrong it's totally inexcusable. The worse part is that this lady never felt bad or tried to solve the issue, she was rude and confrontational, she even claimed to be the owner which I doubt. I guess now we will be driving a bit more for the same food but for a hopefully much better service. read more
