They are knowledgeable, emotionally supportive, and genuinely caring. They made me feel safe and respected the entire time. They have solutions for everything and did so well educating me on health, nutrition, my body, pregnancy, and the delivery process. Every part of my experience with them felt intentional and thoughtful, from the amazing childbirth classes with Brooke, to their newborn specialist Diana who was such a huge support after delivery. Anita was always so helpful and kind as well. I always felt listened to, never rushed, and like I mattered to them. They went above and beyond for me in ways I'll never forget, and because of them I had not just one, but two of the most beautiful birth experiences I could have EVER imagined. I've never felt as safe and loved as I did here. I truly don't know how I would've survived without them. I feel beyond blessed to have found this birth center. They changed my life and I will forever be grateful.

I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a respectful and nurturing birth experience. During labor, the environment was very supportive- soothing voices, and no rush or pressure. I felt fully in control but never alone. Afterward, the postpartum care and follow-up were just as amazing. As a first time mom and postpartum RN working in the hospital, my birth experience here has changed how I view my own work and deepened my respect for this kind of holistic, family-centered care. I 100% support this model of care and would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, empowering birth experience.

She was so professional, despite the fact that my dog was there crying for attention. I came away feeling pampered and relaxed, but also could tell that she actually assisted with my stiff muscles. I have had massages in the past that were relaxing, but I didn't see lasting improvement in my tension level. Or I have had massages where the person worked my muscles deeply, but I came away sore and feeling a bit beaten up. Somehow Jesika is always able to help me relax while also accomplishing a lasting effect without any unwanted soreness. I was so excited that At Peace Massage opened a physical location. While the concept of receiving a massage in my own home seems very appealing, the fact is that my lifestyle (with an 8 year old son and 1 year old dog) doesn't provide a relaxing environment. So her new spa location is PERFECT for me. I enjoyed the addition of hot towels to my treatment this time and look forward to her maybe using hot stones or something in the future, since I noticed she seemed to have that equipment. I highly recommend her!!!!

I kickbox at ILKB in the same plaza and was ironically referred to Jesika by another masseuse that moved to a different state. Exercising along with my weird sleeping postures has my body begging for something besides foam rolling at home with my dogs all over my face. Naturally after the first appointment, I had some concerns and improvements that I relaid in the follow up email survey her system sends. To my surprise, she has handled each one with every follow up appointment. For example, I thought the lights were too bright, especially when you flip over and face upwards. I've noticed she turns down the lights at that moment. I also thought a heated eye mask would feel much more comfortable, and she remembers to add a heated towel instead of just covering my eyes. Lastly, I had concerns with confirming appointments because I never received confirmation emails after the first appointment. However, she responds to texts within probably 30 minutes and is just extremely professional overall. I recommend Jesika to all my gym buddies and hope they come! Your body will thank you!

We had such an amazing experience at the beautiful and welcoming Frisco Birth Center for both births and formed a truly special relationship with Margie that will never be forgotten. Margie is an incredibly kind, gentle, supportive, knowledgeable, and professional midwife who genuinely cares about her clients in a way that is rare in any medical setting. Throughout pregnancy, she promptly answered any questions or concerns that arose, even making herself available between visits as needed, despite her busy schedule. Our older children came with me to prenatal appointments and they adore her as much as we do! She took the time to teach them and let them get involved in finding baby's heartbeat and position, which helped them get so excited to meet their new sibling. Leading up to the birth, we had some unusual findings in one of the blood samples that were run, and she put in extra time and effort to help us find the answers we needed to feel confident in our birth plan. There was also a risk of hemorrhage, but she wisely helped us weigh all of our options before, during, and after the birth so that we could have the safe and beautiful delivery we hoped for. Margie and her assistant midwife, Neta (who is also wonderful), accurately assessed the health of both mom and baby and responded quickly and professionally to any concerns that arose, including a very fast transition and delivery and maternal bleeding. We felt completely safe and empowered throughout the entire process because of Margie's clinical skill and compassionate demeanor. Birth can be unpredictable, and we felt well-informed and supported through every decision. After the birth, her standard of excellence continued, as she made multiple home visits to check on mom and baby and helped empower us make the decisions about his health we were uncertain. We are so grateful to know Margie and would highly recommend that others make the same choice if they are looking for a kind, gentle, trustworthy, skilled, and dedicated provider who truly cares.

My first birth was at a hospital and after doing thorough research, I realized that I deserved better than the care that I had received and knew that I needed a different experience. For my second birth I gave birth at Allen Birthing Center which was fantastic! This third time around, I decided to do several interviews of midwives in the area. I felt an instant connection to Margie and I knew that I wanted to go with her. I was having some financial issues at the time but she allowed me to make a payment plan and get a substantial discount. She really does care about people and want to help in any way possible. If you have formerly received obstetric care, I think you'll find that out-of-hospital midwifery care is a night and day opposite experience. Obstetrics focuses mostly on the baby and is very fear-based. Margie is very holistic in her methods and believes in the woman's body's capability to birth. She knows that the mother's emotional state is just as important as what is going on with her physically. Through our appointments I let her know my goals for my birth, including my desire to birth in an upright position. She made sure that all of my wishes were respected and I obtained the ultimate birth experience that I desired! I am forever grateful for her and consider her a friend. Ladies, please don't be fearful! Our bodies were created for this. Should a hospital transfer be desired or necessary, there is always a plan B and C for those scenarios. If you are having trouble getting your husband on board, I highly recommend having him watch "The Business of Being Born." Midwifery care is actually MUCH cheaper than standard prenatal care and hospital birth. If you choose Margie to help fulfill your prenatal, postnatal and childbirth needs, you cannot go wrong! Highly recommend!!!

They're patient, they ask questions and actually listen to your reply. They look at your chart before treating you and make sure you're getting the care you need. Every visit. Consistently. Plus they're all kinds of nice :) My husband has been seeing chiropractors since his first sports injury as a kid, seeing over a dozen state side and abroad while in the military. He knows the good, bad and ugly. He started seeing Dr G a after experiencing a relapse with a pinched nerve in his neck that causes his left arm to lose strength and lock up nearly over night. It happened a few years ago and he saw a chiropractor then, but he didn't feel he was great. So he researched, tried one for 3xs that only tried to sell him vs relieve the issue. Then he found Dr G. Thankfully hubbs is moving freely again, he's sleeping through the night, regaining strength and he's gained a lot more knowledge plus better exercise routines to help keep the pain at bay until a surgeon evaluates next steps. After witnessing his transformation, hubs got me to go to help with chronic headaches and upper back pain from too many hours behind a crappy desk situation at work. Now I'm moving better too, in much less pain with less headaches, plus I'm gaining more flexibility. Win! I've never really been to a chiropractor but I'm on my 2nd month. Started at 3x ea week, now 2x, and will get to 1x ea month soon. Best part, I love how I feel after each visit and I personally find more relief from these sessions than a massage. I'll end with, if your back hurts or you're living with headaches, an injury or reoccurring pain like we are/were... just go. You deserve to feel better. xo
