As soon as I walked in, I noticed the cleanliness of the waiting room. The receptionist greeted me and had me fill out new patient forms. Shortly after, I was taken to the back by one of their hygienist who was very friendly. She explained procedures and after I had an extensive exam and photos. Before, ending the exam the Doctor came in to speak with me, she was also very friendly. A few days later I went back for a cleaning. I am so bad with names but the girl that cleaned my teeth was really nice. I felt very comfortable with her and she did a great cleaning job. This was definitely one of my better experiences at a dental office! I highly recommend this dental office.

We also found the reviews to be really good, we saw that it was not too far, and it was covered by her insurance. We called and they make a quick appointment. The receptionist on the phone the spent time talking through the options and made me feel very comfortable to have her care there. The day of the appointment we came in and were greeted kindly by the receptionist. He again just went through the steps and the plan of what my daughter needed. We also met with the dentist and he took a lot of time as well to make sure my daughter was comfortable and confident with his plan. I felt like we were in good hands. We only needed two visits to repair the teeth and my daughter hasn't had complaints about the fillings. We are staying with this practice and would recommend it to others. After the initial exam I was told that I needed to have a cleaning since I was there and that my xrays showed deep pockets and bone loss. This was not surprising to me - I 've had this told to me before. Of course, I needed planing and scaling and then they wanted to use an antibiotic that my insurance did not cover. The cost would have been $999.00. I refused. Then it was time to check out and schedule the root canal. As I sat in the financial office, the woman was calculating away and I was told that all of the work needed would be about $4000.00 out of pocket!!! This was for the root canal and crown, which I was expecting, but then she told me that the dentist also said I needed another crown and my bridge replaced! None of this was discussed with me during the exam. I went back a week and a half later for the root canal and was told by the endodontist that the tooth should be pulled because there was a crack that went all the way to the root. So instead of the root canal and cap, I lost a tooth. Will not be returning to this location. They seem to be more concerned with upselling than with the health of their patients.

The estimate was done when they were a PPO and the treatment was done when they changed to Premier, Unbeknownst to my husband because Sansone's office didn't have the courtesy to tell him that they changed to a Premier dentist and that there would be an additional cost associated. Delta Dental is ok with this bait and switch tactic. Sansone's office said read the fine print! How about you be more upfront/honest with your patients. They knew they switched from PPO to Premier so they should have done their job and sent in new pre-treatment estimates. So buyer beware. Some dentists and dental insurance providers are unethical!!
