She criticized the Doctor about notifying her of her breast cancer diagnosis...would she rather hear from the Radiologist or his office staff? Should he call her in to the office for a visit while she anxious and having sleepless nights until the doctor can get her in? It sounds like the doctor immediately referred her out which sounds appropriate ...is he supposed call her weekly to see how she's doing? How would the doctor know she changed doctors? With thousands of patients he supposed to recognize she hasn't come back and call her to see why? As for the exams, Doctors usually see patients who have a problem and many times exams are not necessary. Does the doctor need to do a full exam every time he sees a patient? Is she saying that when her knee hurts, she wants him to look in her ears? This woman's comments seem unreasonable, detached from reality, unwarranted and inaccurate especially as they relate to his character. I can't imagine she saw the doctor very often to come up with such mischaracterizations. Sounds like another unhappy person displacing their feelings and deflecting. This place is first come first serve, they do not take insurance but typically only charge $60. Per visit. Recently I was suffering with a uti and my regular Dr. Expected me to wait over a month to be seen . So I walked into North County Care, waited my turn to be seen and then was given a test and diagnoses along with a prescription . So to me that was well worth $60.00 . He is a bit of a character, don't let that turn you off he is a very good Dr. that does what he can to help people heal. No ego trip and a no frills office.

My son didn't feel heard at the appt with the Dr. He had a concussion and was sent for that, not a normal eye exam. I was but off by him too in our conversations. Disregarded. Now he is getting glasses, don't think that is the correct route? My appt was suppossed to be immediately after his (for his 9am we arrived at 850 and he was seen at 920/ a student missing school). The first thing I asked was if the dr was on time. Then for my appt, it was supposed to be back to back, mine was at 10, we were there still, and at 10, she stated there were THREE people ahead of me, so an hour wait. Didn't mention they stated they "squeezed Max in today," so therefore the wait, because of their schedule mishap. Felt disrespected and won't go back. We just left, I had to get my kid back in school. Going elsewhere.

Had PRK corrective surgery here. Initial impressions were good, however the experience would turn…read moreinto a major red flag minutes before the surgery. Dr Sani warned me just minutes before surgery that corrective surgery may take multiple sessions. (We had already had multiple appointments and this was the first I was hearing of multiple sessions under the laser). Surgery was quick and painless, however Dr sani would go on to accidentally cut my eye when removing the bandage contact lenses with his tweezers 7 days after prk laser surgery. He was adamant that he didn't cut my eye, and that I just had dry eyes, which was a common side effect. After weeks of dealing with eye pain and being out of work, and his diagnosis of "dry eyes" I saw another eye doctor. The 2nd eye doctor quickly diagnosed me with a cut to the eye, From a sharp object. (His tweasers). What should've been an easy fix, Dr sani failed to admit his mistake and turned my 2 weeks off the job into over a month. Overall poor communication and and ego turned this experience sour. I wouldn't go back to this location or recommend them to anyone.
