Always great service here. I brought grandson in with appointment at 130. Sent immediately onto…read morethe room for examination, and found an Inner ear infection from a long 2 week cold virus. I Ran over to Walgreens after for Amoxicillin and we were in our way back home and at home by 230 pm. I Highly recommend this physicians office.

This is certainly not Dr. Tedford and Dr. Patterson's practice anymore. I know they have long since…read moreretired, but you can tell by the staff their customer service is retired along with them. I recommend any other doctors office in the north county. I came in and was told that my picture of my insurance wasn't good enough for them to see my daughter. I was told I couldn't email or text them a copy. The front desk woman (Karen probobly was her name), blonde and older, told me I had to go home and get a copy with a copy machine and come back. (Mind you they already have my insurance on file) Then the lady at the front desk charged me 50$ for canceling an appointment I was on time for that she would not let me go to. As a small business owner in the north county, people like this at detrimental to our relationships with customers, they are rude, and have a sense of entitlement that they can't hide. Again, I don't think this represents the doctor themselves, but it's a very poor reflection on the state of our community, at least in a small percentage. We had the best experience ever at a pediatrician in Templeton and advise you to look for care options there, or in SLO.

Fact: it takes almost dying for most nurses to go to the ER. This was me last week. I honestly had…read morenever felt so sick in my entire life. I wanted to write this review because while this has been pretty much my only experience as a patient at a hospital, I am forever grateful for the treatment I received. I came in with a temp of 103.9 and a HR of 140. I was so dizzy I could barely stand. I was triaged within minutes and immediately placed in a bay. Every single staff member (several nurses, doctor, lab, EKG and radiology techs) were absolutely incredible. Professional, skilled, expeditious and truly worked as a team. Even though I was super scared, every team member took the effort to put me at ease. I write this as a retired RN who has worked primarily in ICU, but as well as Burn ICU, peri-operative units, and even a few ER shifts when I was a float nurse. Even though I have never been on the patient side until now, I've seen a things or two. Twin Cities delivered. Turns out I had a pretty severe case of pneumonia but a week later I almost feel myself again. The doctor encouraged me to come back if I ever have any problems or if things worsened. I feel relieved to have emergency care like Twin Cities in our community. I've read some pretty abysmal reviews and being a nurse, I know there are always two sides to the story. Thank you Twin Cities.

You would think the people facing the patient would exhibit some compassion and care. This is the same complaint I have about Templeton Imaging. Clinical staff is great but the people who start the process are horrible. I realize that it is a tough job admitting patients but if you can't exhibit a level of concern and compassion, GET ANOTHER JOB! My wife went there on a Monday because she was short of breath and had a very low Hemoglobin number and was advised by her PCP to get to the ER for a transfusion. Long wait in the ER waiting room, finally got a bed in a room. Nurses there seemed proficient and friendly, one specifically was very attentive, wish I caught his name. Finally admitted to a room and the journey began. She ended up with three units of blood and an upper GI procedure. In the end she was discharged on Thursday with VERY unclear discharge orders. Not sure what discharge planning there was since I was there in the afternoon and nothing was listed on the board about a plan. Overall if there was another choice I would take it. I know there were a lot of complaint about Tenet but at least they seemed better. I find this disappointing because I worked for Adventist East and consider it to be a fine organization. Again the nurses and most of the staff are very good but the challenge is the front facing people don't seem to care.

We had an appointment for my daughter's 15 month check up with Dr. Laura Herzberg today. What an…read moreawful experience!!! First of all, the waiting area is completely bare, just a couple of chairs and pamphlets for some local services. It was not friendly, nor stocked with any magazines to read while waiting, nor toys for kids to play with (anyone who has had to wait over an hour to see a physician KNOWS that there should be some books or toys to distract antsy children!) Then, we waited another 20 minutes to see the medical assistant. She was not very friendly and kind of abrupt in manner. I would maybe understand this if the office was busy, but it wasn't. There were only 2 other families in the lobby. We get to the exam room, she administers a test that we don't need (I find out later), and goes to retrieve the doctor for the exam. Another 30 minutes go by....when Dr. Herzberg finally arrives, she is brusque and rude in her comments about my daughter's development and physical appearance (she has baby acne - very minimal amount). She is rough with my child, as she tries to listen to her heartbeat, check ears, and throat. Now, my easy going toddler is crying and visibly scared of her. She comments that she'll be really upset after the shots, because "they really hurt". After more blunt and insensitive commentary on her walking ability and speech development, she leaves to get the shots...only to return two seconds later to quiz me on her immunization record. Apparently, Dr. Herzog can't read a chart. I finally lose my temper, and say that we will contact her regular doctor and come back another time for the vaccinations. It has now been close to an hour and a half of incompetent and rude care/service from this physician. My daughter and I have seen MANY doctors since she was born, and I have never seen such bad service/patient care!!! Dr. Laura Herzberg needs to improve her bedside manner, it is currently at a 0, on a scale from 1 - 10. She is insensitve, thoughtless, and brusque. The clinic needs to improve the atmosphere by creating a more friendly environment for children and parents. I would not recommend this clinic or this particular physician to anyone.
